My bride's family are generational customers of the original Orchard Tavern. I've been going since the late '70s after football games at Bleeker Stadium.The present owner has expanded to this new site on Western Ave (formerly Dorado's) in front of Star Plaza. A lot of renovations inside - new bar, open floor plan, bright & airy. There was a story of a time where my card did not work (even at any ATMs) and there was a bartender at the time who was very understanding. He gave me my meal completely for free and said to come back whenever I had the money. I did later on that day and he was the kindest soul about it. I did not realize that bartender was the owner of that location: Kris. He has to be one of the most passionate and caring persons that I have ever met in food service, and I do not say that lightly....read full review

Thinking of this restaurant today. One of my Dad's favorites. Went there last about 8+ years ago before moving to Texas. So happy you're still around. Will be on my list for our next visit back to the area.
