“Just this evening, I ordered take out from the wrong location. I called Stuyvesant plaza instead of Slingerlands. When I called Stuyvesant about the mistake the manager said, “ No problem”. What’s your address ? I will drive it out to you. Within a 1/2 hour this awesome guy Justin pulled into my driveway with all our food. Hot food and cold salad !! Thank you. Way to go!!”

“This is one post I couldn’t wait to get home so I could tell you all about it. This evening Bill Cullen took me out for a special birthday dinner to a local Restaurant named Scarlet Knife. It’s located on Route 7 just as you enter Watervliet from Latham. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and inviting. We were met by welcoming staff and seated at a very nice table for two in an open floor plan, large dining room. One end of the room is a bar and live music and the other end is an open view to the very busy kitchen. Spectacular design was enhanced by the high ceiling and dramatic lighting. Whoever did this design…nailed it. The cocktail menu has interesting drinks, and I couldn’t wait to try the Polar Pear. I was not disappointed. Yummy. Usually if we are planning on dessert we skip appetizers, but our waitress, Pason, mentioned a special appetizer of lobster deviled eggs. We couldn’t resist. Fantastic! Bill ordered the evening special pork chop that came with mashed potatoes and colorful carrots with an apple demi glaze. He remarked five times how good it was. I ordered the French onion short ribs. Honestly it was beyond perfect. When it came time for dessert, we decided to share a Golden Ticket. Pure bliss, chocolate heaven. I had mentioned to the waitress that the fig sorbet sounded good to me so she sent me a taste spoon. I loved it. The dessert with the fig sorbet will be mine next time. And there will be a next time. This place is pure gold. PS Did you notice the photo of the silverware? Any place that is paying attention to these details is going to pay attention to you. They obviously love what they are doing and it shows.”

“Best sushi spot in the area. Actually authentic sushi prepared by a master. Very comparable to sushi in Japan, as good as anything else you can get on this side of the planet.

“So this was my first time here…we had a birthday celebration for my boss! About 13 people. Reservations were for 6:00pm. I came about 15 minutes late, and some people had drinks already. We waited for our waitress to return and it was almost 1/2hr. She took our second drink order, and seemed annoyed. The restaurant was very busy (which we were told by other servers) another 1/2hr pasted and finally she took our food orders. At this point, we were very hungry and disappointed-I guess our server had another big table.. So our salads were dropped off but another female server (who seemed very professional and much nicer than our original server) After that things seemed better. Food was good! I just thought about the customer service of the first waitress. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I work in customer service (which is very important especially for first impressions) would i recommend this restaurant yes, food was good. Service was not so great.”

“Love the food and service at 110 Latham. I've gotten the calamari several times and it never disappoints. After many visits getting my normal go to menu items like shrimp scampi that I love I decided at last weeks visit to ask the waitress for recommendations. At her recommendation I get the Apricot Shrimp Risotto for the first time. WOW, so happy I did. it was amazing and I have a new favorite. Thanks 110 and staff. See you again soon.”

“We went to Milanos for the first time today, and we’re never going back. To say that the service was terrible would be an understatement. Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. We should have eaten at the burger place a few doors down.”

“The food is delicious! The boba tea (I got Taro) is not too sweet, but a perfect balance. The boba (tapioca pearls) were flavorful too. The ramen soup is scrumptious. So many different flavors. I can’t fit it all in, great portions. The pork is juicy and crispy and flavorful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. This was my second time here, getting the same thing, because it’s so good! It was a little on the expensive side (12.50 for the pork ramen, 6.50 for the boba) overall, 5 stars.”

“Just returned from having a wonderful lunch at Tailored Tea. My husband had a chicken potpie and I had a warm turkey, apple and spinach wrap. They were both delicious. Along with our lunch my husband had English breakfast tea and I had pomergranate, white tea, Berry etc. and they were both delicious too. The restaurant was a little noisey, but our lunch compensated for the noise. When you go to Tailored Tea plan on having a leisurely meal and spending at least an hour or more there.”

“It's been a while since I have grabbed a burger here, but it never disappoints. I got 6 different burgers and each one was perfect and the fries were perfectly salty and crispy. They had a trainee so it wasn't as quick as it could have been, but it wasn't due to lack of effort so I wasn't bothered. We were greeted with smiles and the staff seemed to be supportive of eachother

But we love coming here. My son thinks their bubble tea is the best and they are the only place who can omit green tea from their fruit teas for little people who don't really need the caffeine. We finally found it at Taste of ITALY Pizza ?!! The BEST pizza in the area!! We met the owner Frank who is extremely friendly & made us feel welcome.
