I was CRAVING chicken Kashmiri bad tonight but my husband is not a big fan of the spice in traditional Indian food. As a compromise, we settled on Galleria 7 in Latham, a multi-ethnic food market with excellent vendors, including @Shalimar express.I called around 5 to ask if Shalimar express makes chicken Kashmiri. Absolutely amazing. I’ve had shalimar at two capital region locations before and I can definitively say this express location meets, if not exceeds the standards of the full locations. The chicken tikka masala I ordered is the best I’ve ever had and the service was just wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

This spot is great, the staff is friendly and accommodating, their portions are large and the food is delicious. Grabbing lunch to go is easy and quick, they have a buffet style lunch menu with a variety of dishes to choose from, and have a fair menu to order from if you have time to sit and eat.
