We happened to be passing by Maharaja while in Albany and stopped in for a late lunch. We were really not that acquainted with Indian food but said let's give a try. What a pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone. Fairly extensive menu. It was tough deciding what to try. It was a chicken masala dish. Very, very good.
Best Indian restaurant in town. Yummy food with excellent service and beautiful ambiance!! Best in catering in Indian food for any occasion!!

We went to the Maharaja India resturant at Colonie for dinner and the food was amazingly tasty. In last 7 years, we have tried other Indian restaurants in the area but there is no comparison in the taste. The service was quick outstanding in warm and cozy atmosphere. We had a veg platter (includes almost everything) Paneer Tikka Masala and DAL MAKHANI…yes the real North Indian Dal Makhani!!
