“Nighthawks is THE BEST spot in Troy. My husband and I adore this place. They make the best omelette I’ve ever had and my husband is in love with their burgers. 100000/10 recommend. Staff are amazing and overall experience is magical!! Wow wow wow.”
“Love the Irish pub atmosphere. Would highly recommend Ryan's Wake for a private party. We had 50 people who were very comfortable in the space. Private room has its own bar which was great. All the staff we worked with were friendly and accommodating. We had appetizers, since party was 6-9pm. Great working with Jared, as he helped me with party planning suggestions. We brought balloons and some decorations. I was extremely happy with Ryan's Wake private room. Plenty of room to mingle! Great job Ryan's Wake!!”
“Bacchus has been the best most under-rated pizza in the area…in NY..for years. However something changed recently. I don’t know if it was a one-off but their flour or dough changed. Not in a good way. What happened?!?”
“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!”

“My phone wouldn't let.me scan the bar code to complete the survey yesterday but a review is definitely necessary. First time at.the Troy location. I had honey bbq wings for an appetizer. Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. Alison and the food made this a great experience. Highly recommended and I will be back.”
“We ordered food from Friendly's, 120 Hoosick St, Troy Plaza, Troy, NY 12180 through Grubhub+. (Grubhub is a free benefit for having Amazon Prime).
The three Honey BBQ Chicken
Supermelts were delicious. The bowl of clam chowder, onion rings and Mac & Cheese side were excellent.”
“The Dutch Udder is the BEST ice cream shop in the Cap Region hands down. The ice cream is produced in small batches so flavor selections are always changing.*dont worry, there are 6 staples offered 24/7. Some flavor combo's are surprisingly stange, but work! Others, flat out home runs!! Pistachio and Bacon Burbon Butter Pecan are my two current favorites. Look forward to tasting new favorites. Owners and staff are incredibly hospitality.”

Organa Chic'n Sandwich is better than Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC. I have not bought a sandwich from Popeyes since I've eaten at Organa”
“We recently celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary, which was a good choice. We found the staff to be polite and friendly from when we entered until we left two hours later. The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. My wife and I also appreciated and thought it "cool" that the owner "Vic" took the time to talk with us. Enjoyable evening and location!!!”

“Their pho is incredible and their fresh rolls divine. My only complaint? On my most recent visit I got pho as takeout, and the broth was so hot, it actually deformed the takeout container it was in. I don't remember that in the past, so I think they must have switched brands. The broth leaked and I was concerned about leaching from melted plastic.
Great food, just need to go back to the old containers.”
“An excellent selection of hard to find Eastern European beers and wines! Plus we tried some local brews. Bartender very good at helping us choose what we’d like. Relaxed atmosphere- we’ve eaten both inside and out in the garden, which is hidden from the street and a nice surprise to find after walking through the black gates. We had appetizers, burgers and salads- all were very good.”
“Love love LOVE B&B. Such a fun unique business idea, executed with passion, love, and the best Mac and cheese in the 518. You can tell the owners care deeply about each and every guest, and their passion shows in everything they do from their main gaming feature, their food, to the events they host. Warm, welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Much love to all the staff , and Charlotte and Bryan! 🫶💛”
“My friend and I stopped in today to have lunch and were not disappointed. This wasn’t our first visit there and I’m happy to say our food is always fresh, served quickly and will be piping hot when it gets to you. Unless it’s supposed to be cold! Waitstaff is attentive and it’s very clean. We lucked out without having to wait despite almost every seat being taken at lunchtime. I highly recommend!!”
“Outside of this place.. Not such a beautiful part of Troy.. Inside, definitely a vibe. Its sweet and homey, the waiter was an absolute doll, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely advise making a reservation because they do clearly book up fast. My only nit pick is that did take a bit for the food to come out.. We got the appetizer at the same time as our entre but we at least were still on time for our event we were going to.”
“I’ve grown up with A Dragon being one of my favorite local Chinese food places. Last night, my family and I moved back to Brunswick and ordered (admittedly last minute) some food for diner after a long day of being in the heat. DELICIOUS!!! Service was super quick and they were friendly over the phone. They found our apartment easily and everything in our order was correct. Will definitely be ordering from again.”
“The food was fantastic!!! I would highly recommend this place and the staff was amazing and the service was great.”
“Tara Kitchen introduced me to Moroccan food and I discovered that I love it! The food there is always served hot and tasty. I am never disappointed.”

“My parents started taking me here since I was only enough to remember. Now as an adult I use it to catch up with good friends and eat my favorite foods with such good prices! prices! I even introduced a few to this classic spot and they always ask when we're going back. Food that always hit the spot-5 Stars every time.”
“The associates are sweet and wonderful. I love everything about this place so far. The patrons seem to include some of the happiest, loveliest, most interesting people. I have actually had spontaneous conversations here...wow, conversations, and nice ones. That's special. I adore Jacob Alejandro!”
“We love their pizza. Ordered from them last night for delivery, the pizza was running a little late but we didn’t notice. Much to our surprise, the delivery driver had 2 pizzas. There was a mistake on the pizza we ordered so they corrected it and gave us the mistake pie. Completely unnecessary but, we were able to feed some friends as well. Thank you. Pro tip: get their homemade bleu cheese.”
“We were there recently for my husband's birthday dinner. Saying the food is incredible is an understatement. This restaurant is on a whole other level of dining. Service was amazing, the atmosphere is so comfortable and welcoming, staff were attentive and it was easy to tell they're passionate about their food they put out. We will be returning for brunch ASAP, and Bistro 42 will become our new go-to date night spot.”
“Liza's is one of my favorites for lunch in downtown Troy. The menu has healthy and tasty choices made with fresh ingredients. Service has always been friendly and fast, yet you will not be rushed as you sit and savor the dishes. The owner Liza who has created the menu can usually be found working at the restaurant, making sure you will return again. And I suggest you do return, so you can sample her creativity in the kitchen!”
“Phenomenal food and drink! Look forward to every time we’re able to come grab a bite at The Ruck!”

“My boyfriend and I come here every week since January for their chicken curry ramen it’s amazing! Definitely the best in the area. And their staff is just as amazing, super friendly! We get the same ramen everytime and it’s always consistently perfect. Thank you!!! 🙂”
“That pork belly bao is a travesty for being that small but being the same price as the chicken sando it’s ridiculous honestly,Lucky corner has one three times the size for cheaper 6 bucks is crazy for that one bite slider portion to price is trash here but the food is really good”
“Great menu....great food... courteous service....fair pricing...Great people! I've never been disappointed with my meal.”
“a great place to to when feeling down a blue . to pick up your spirits. and have a great time thank you for all you do .”
“My friend and I ate there over the weekend and had yet another great experience. Attentive waitresses, generous portions served hot and fresh and didn’t break the bank. We love the casual feel and while small, you don’t feel too closed in. Also, while our food came out quickly, we weren’t rushed to leave and could spend time enjoying ourselves.”

“We love the RB, going there, the music, etc. Food is very good, great pizza. Recently did take out of 2 melts, delicious. Couple things though... 1) really really irks me when anyone i'm paying doesnt say thanks, thank you, etc. It was take out, I even gave a nice tip. Say thank you - goes a long way. 2) fries were Ok, not great, pasty and just eh, 3) salad greens were disgusting. Inedible, tasted like they were in dirty water, and 4) parking lot was thrashed. this was sat, so cleanup from friday should've been done. Empty bottles, cans, etc. Gross. We'll go back, but it will be a bit.”
“We used Carols to cater a baby shower— not only were the options great, they gave us a good price, all the food was fresh and delicious, and it was exactly the right amount of food for the number of guests. I would definitely use them again and recommend for anyone looking for good local catering options!”
“This was so good!! More people need to support this restaurant! My family and I got a late lunch here, and we all really enjoyed it. The tacos are incredible. I also got a side of rice and beans and really enjoyed it. All very good and very well seasoned. Very nice people! Thank you!
Parking: Street parking right out front.”
“Sat at the bar and was served by Vinnie. Vinnie was super nice and we had great conversations. Gabriella was also very smiley and friendly (she drinks a lot of water lol [inside joke]). I ordered the veal cordon bleu and my adult son had the lasagna. I’ve been to Italy and this meal was just as good, if not better, than some of the food I ate in Rome, Gaeta or Naples. The food was nice and hot, the bread was perfect and the everything was tasty. Great job we will definitely be back!”
“All the groups were outstanding. We especially liked the jazz band.”
“From the atmosphere to the cocktails the friendly crafty bartenders, this place rocks!”
“Moved back to my hometown and was so happy the Zotto’s reopened a new place. The best pizza, and wings around. Brunswick needed this place!!! All the waitresses were amazing and welcoming too!!”
“What a great finds in the center of Troy. This is a beautifully redone building with a trendy menu, great atmosphere and terrific service. The pizza with hot honey can't be beat.”
“Pizza and wings are Great! Customer Service was excellent. We will definitely be ordering again.”
“Parking is usually easy to find on the street when I stop here. The bar has a clean and inviting atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The cocktails are always good. I love that they have one or two hard ciders on tap. There are plenty of beers on tap to choose from.
The bar food is always spot on. Fresh and tasty. Plus I enjoy the rotating seasonal food offerings.
There are games upstairs to explore.
In cooperating weather the patio is nice to take advantage of.
I enjoy meeting my friends here for some good laughs, drinks and food.”

“Ordered fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, server moved extremely fast while handling multiple parties in moderate noise environment. Server had great memory and communicated very well with all age groups at the table and helped provide a pleasant experience to what could have been a more chaotic situation. Time from taking order to receiving order was 15 minutes! Nice to be in Troy Area, Will come again with a group”

“An exceptional experience! The tacos took me right back to my "abuelita's" cooking. The fresh hand-made tortillas were excellent! The salsas could use more heat, but I understand most people can't handle spice. I asked and they gave me "morita salsa" which was delicious! My friend had a burrito bowl, and he was very pleased with the amount of food. He said the flavors were well balanced. He really enjoyed the carnitas. I don't know why some complain about the price. You get 4 hand-made tortilla tacos for $13.99. Most places only give you 3 and the tortillas are not fresh for maybe a dollar less!! The ambiance was great. Very clean and comfortable. Going back tomorrow, and the next and maybe every day..”
“As a queer woman in America, with a disability and a service dog... there are many places in this world where I do not feel comfortable, accepted, or even tolerated- much less welcomed. Any time I want to stop into a new place, I get a stomach ache outside, wondering whether people who don't know the ADA, or who don't understand what it's like to be challenged in every doorway for your right to exist, are going to mess up my day. (If you're a person with a service dog, then you know what I mean.) Today, though, I stopped by Cafe Euphoria and finally went in to eat. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this place exactly as welcoming, warm, and fabulous as everyone had told me it would be. I had just had such a nerve racking morning. All I needed was to sit down worth warm comfort food, and not be bothered. A person in my situation can't take for granted that I can get such a thing in a public place. A lot of people wanna give me notes about the dog. I walked in with my dog, and no one treated me like a pariah or try to tell me I needed to show "papers" to exist in public. Instead, everyone was warm, friendly, and accepting! My dog and I are fairly new to each other. She is completely trained, both in her public access skills and in the tasks she performs to assist me. But in my experience, the whole first year together is really a time of learning to work together and work out any kinks in training. I discovered one today, when a burst of wind suddenly pushed open the door and began flapping papers hung near the door, at exactly the same moment that two guests suddenly stood up to greet each other right next to our table. My dog was surprised, and for a brief moment her training fell apart, with a sharp, brief, yelp of surprise on her part! This is a thing that can happen, even in a well trained dog - they're like people, and we all have our moments. But I've been in many situations where such a thing might have caused all the nasty, snarky little things being whispered around us suddenly get loud and blatant. Technically speaking, a business is not required to allow even a svc dog to misbehave in public, so they could have come over to get gate-keepy over that. (I was pretty embarrassed, as I've had a service dog for my entire adult life and I try to be more pro about it than that. I was actually prepared to just get up and leave, in case anyone was bothered.) But when I looked up, no one was giving me the hairy eyeball! No one was frowning at me, nobody was whispering accusations about my dog not being a "real" service dog. Instead, most people just went on with whatever they were doing, and those who met my eye just smiled warmly, full of acceptance and calm. The server even asked her name, with a bright and sincere smile. God, if you're not a person who is assisted by a service animal, you've NO IDEA both how rare and how special that kind of respectful acceptance can be. EVERYONE wants to patronizingly able- splain to me why they don't think they need to follow the ADA, why they don't think I've got the right to be there, or why they don't "believe," as though their beliefs should matter here, that my dog is really a service dog. This is such a relentless feature of my life that I am flooded with gratitude any time it doesn't happen that way. So much love to Cafe Euphoria! What a lovely, welcoming place. The food was DIVINE! What a welcome change from some of the other places I've been in this region. (Oh the stories I can, and prolly will at some point, tell about businesses not NEARLY this cool!) THANK YOU CAFE EUPHORIA!!!”
“I usually get the cauli powder pizza when I go to Organa. I am no vegan, but the pizza has a great taste and wonderful crunch. This day I wanted to try the Chic'n sandwich, so my husband and I brought 2 different sandwiches. He had cheddar on his sandwich, and I had some sort of spicy sweet sauce on my sandwich. I bit my sandwich, it was so good, I had to park to finish it. However, when I pulled over my sandwich fell on the floor in the backseat. You want to talk about someone being very upset. “We went here on a lark for brunch, and it did not disappoint. The waiter was super friendly, the food was quick, and we met the owner Joey and he is truly trying to make everyone who comes in feel like part of his family. There are good vegetarian breakfast options, and the apps for lunch and dinner are also veggie friendly. Skip Manory's and head to Trojan Station, especially if you like a quieter atmosphere.”
“Was not familiar with the area, stopped and grabbed a sub for lunch. The store is clean and organized. The gentleman at the counter was very engaging and courteous. Fully accommodating with my food order. And the quality of the food was very good and well put together. Less than twenty dollars for a sub, 2x chips and a large bottle of water. Would absolutely come back.”
“American Food & Deli is easily one of the best spots I’ve tried in the 518 area. I ordered a chopped cheese, 6 honey hot wings, and 6 lemon pepper wings, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy and cooked perfectly. The honey hot had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the lemon pepper was seasoned really well. The chopped cheese was loaded with meat and cheese and was just as good.
The service was excellent too. Before I ordered, the employee let me try a wing, which was a great gesture and showed confidence in the quality of their food. On top of that, the prices are hard to beat for the quality and portions you get.
Great food, excellent service, and unbeatable prices. I’ll definitely be back.”
“A pleasant little breakfast and lunch eatery near downtown Troy. The vibe is definitely chill, which comes from the owner. He appeared very knowledgeable about what he was serving, and helped me navigate the choices. Providing lots of info as needed.
There are quite a lot of vegan and vegetarian choices here. I opted for the Blue Lagoon acai bowl. The acai base had spirulina in it, and the toppings were all fresh fruits and nuts, plus chia seeds. It was definitely not too sweet and clearly assembled with presence and care. I felt nourished afterward, not sugared up.
I'm off of coffee for a while, so the turmeric latte was a nice choice.
My wife had the pesto grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. These also seemed prepared with love and care.
We were both very happy here and will be back to try more things.”
“This was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time since moving up here from NYC. I love their friendly personalities and the food was delicious! The place is very humble and small but they food is packed with flavors! Try it and leave them a review they deserve it!”
