“A very nice restaurant, but generally I don't enjoy their dinner menus. It's a bit too modern for my tastes with unusual and trendy dishes that seem to prioritize unusual ingredients over tasty dishes. That said, if you like that thing, they definitely do it well.I like stopping in for a burger or veggie burger at lunch, but their extended menu just isn't for me. The restaurant is run very well, staff is extremely professional, and the atmosphere is great.”
“Love this quirky yet cozy and super-cool spot. A great thing about Troy is the old buildings there have cool nook-like spaces such as this. The wood fired wings were really good - not straight down the middle typical Buffalo wings, but very good (with top notch bleu cheese.). “Medium” had just the right amount of heat for us. Pizza was very good too. Look forward to going back. Recommend.”

“Have been to the schenectady location many times, and am happy to discover the troy location is just as delicious and flavorful, with the same tea, rice, pita, and menu options.I love the tagines, particularly the lamb with smen, chicken with oranges and spinach, and the spicy date sauce which is quite spicy. Always also order the eggplant dipIve only come here for lunch once and it was good but the dinner selection is better.The staff were kind and helpful, and i like the larger open space in the Troy location. “Friends and I met for lunch around noon on a Friday. We were warmly and quickly greeted by, I believe the owner. We were walked to our seats and asked about drink orders. We said that we would like the Mediterranean sampler platter. Our favorite! (See our posted pictures) We placed our lunch orders which included the Gyro pita, chicken pesto sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. We all ordered fries. The sandwiches were excellent and the fries were hot and perfectly done!!3 other couples came in after us and were seated and served.This is a special restaurant in a corner of a mall. Highly recommend! They serve wine and beer. They also have many vegetarian dishes.”
“Moved here from NYC and have finally found good pizza and real Italian food. The pizza has a delicious crust, not crispy enough, but properly proofed and the right amount of gluten. The sauce flavor is spot on. It is excellent pizza. The house salad is huge, fresh and has a nice mix of lettuces. We had the red pepper pesto and the pesto over linguini. The pasta is made fresh in-house, and they know how to make good sauces. The hangover cake is fantastic, it's a booze soaked pound cake and it it the perfect way to end a great meal. There is very limited seating, so call ahead to reserve a table. It reminds me of the places I grew up with in NYC.”

I traveled around the world with the military, learned to cook like a Southern Italian during Christmases with my family in Foggia, experienced the tremendous variety of cuisines in Asia, but had to travel to a hidden diner in Troy NY to be introduced to my new favorite soup, Vichyssoise.”
“I liked their barbecue pulled pork sandwich, but there was hardly no sauce on it. The bbq beans also had no bbq sauce in it. The coleslaw was better than the ultra sweet stuff they serve everywhere else. The potato salad was ok. I mean is it really barbecue if it's not sauced well?”
“As someone who was diagnosed with celiac disease in my late 20’s it has been an adjustment, and traveling is nearly impossible it feels like. I work in healthcare and knowing I would be in the Albany area for a weekend I wanted to decrease my time in the kitchen, and try whatever food I could safely consume. I have little trust in reviewed gluten free restaurants or bakeries, due to not everyone being as sensitive as myself. When I came across this via the find me gluten free app, I know I had to try it. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left and ate my sandwich I was amazed. The owner was kind and knowledgeable. I felt safe eating anything on the menu, and I honestly did not even know what to get! The menu had many items that I have not been able to eat in years since being diagnosed, but I went with the chicken Parmesan sandwich and got a pizza for later. Let me tell you, this was the best chicken Parmesan sandwich I have ever had, and this includes back to the time I was consuming gluten. It was fresh, had so much flavor, and the roll that it was on, TO DIE FOR! Everything was made fresh, and did not taste gluten free, made me a little scared, since most gluten free items are not the greatest tasting. The little donut holes are amazing! I can’t even describe them, they are soft and light like a fried dough, but the cinnamon on them, they just melt in your mouth without making you feel guilty for eating a donut! I could go on and on, this place is a must try, and I will be going back!Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free facility. Does not utilize almond substitutes, and is aware of other food allergies. Very knowledgeable. I have celiac and a tree nut allergy.”

“Jacob Alejandro is *the* perfect coffee spot. It’s a very well thought out establishment. I love the unique curated flavors and that they don’t use your typical flavor shots. I’ve branched out and tried so many flavors in my coffee and was pleasantly surprised with every single one of them. Sure you can save a few dollars and get cheaper coffee other places. But I wouldn’t recommend it. You get what you pay for and here you’re getting the BEST. I’d be totally fine if I never had coffee anywhere but here for the rest of my life. The pastries are delicious as well. And the staff is always friendly! It’s not just coffee, it’s an experience.”

The game selection is by far the largest I've seen, everything from "family game night" type games like Sorry up to the more complex and strategic games. The Buffalo Chicken MAC was truly incredible!!! Might have been the best Mac I've had. The texture and ratio of Mac to chicken to cheese cracker was divine. If you need something last minute for a potluck definitely grab the Mac, they have a cauliflower version too. A solid portion at a fair price. Fantastic Oolong tea, though a bit too hot. This will most certainly become my 3rd place and can't wait to go back!”

Staff are friendly, the seasonings are spot on, fresh seafood, delicious fried food. I'm from the deep, dirty south and it is so hard up here to find good seafood. This is great seafood. I am in love with the fruit teas. The shrimp are always juicy and plump. They will mix the garlic butter with the Cajun and it hits the spot every time. I took a point off because the napkins are too small and not enough. You almost need a good washcloth. We never use the bibs you just dive in and enjoy.”

The food is good and feels more healthy then most places, the sip club saves me money and if we take my 2 year old daughter there when it's quiet every employee we have interacted with has been very welcoming. Also the sourdough bread loaf is really good, it compares well to most bakeries.”

I moved to the area last fall and since this Dunkin is in walking distance, my husband and I stop by all the time.When we order ahead, 9 times out of 10 it's ready by the time I get there. And when it's not, the wait is never long. The staff is always friendly no matter what time of day/week it is- I tend to grab coffee whenever it strikes me so sometimes it's the morning, sometimes the evening.Unfortunately there are times when items are out of stock despite the app allowing orders to go through. This isn't the staff's fault at all and they always offer alternatives.The restaurant is clean and well kept- just last week or so contractors came to remove the remnants of prior seating. And while the bathrooms being staff-only is inconvenient, I can absolutely understand why this is. For better of for worse, we live in a city. Yes, there are homeless. I don't blame the staff for not wanting to clean up after disasters in the restroom. I've had to wait a couple minutes in the lobby a few times to meet people and I've never been kicked out or yelled at.I haven't had a problem coming here. Out of all the Dunkins I used to visit out of state, etc, they're consistently the only location that makes my coffee exactly the way I like it.”

“We had our engagement party here. We were lucky to be able to reserve the River Bar. Jared did an amazing job helping us plan the event. He suggested a date where live music was playing which made our party even better. He worked with us to create a food menu and gave us awesome feedback on how much to order based upon our party size. The rest of the staff that served our party was wonderful. The drinks and food were delicious. The staff made sure the food was staying hot throughout the party and they even helped us box up all of our gifts at the end of the night. They did everything to make sure we had a memorable night. To top it all off, it's nice to have a place to go in Troy, New York that supports your local law enforcement and first responders. If you are thinking of having a private party this is a great option!”

“From the moment I called Al to discuss catering for an event I was planning I was impressed. He is extremely personable, answered all of my questions and had the quote over to me via text immediately after we spoke the first time and again when I later added mini cannolis to my order. He personally delivered the food to the venue and set up the chafing dishes. It was completely stress free. I returned them the next morning and he came out and got them from my car. Everyone raved about the food. I ordered chicken piccata, stuffed eggplant, rigatoni with sausage, roasted potatoes and green beans, along with delicious warm rolls with butter and of course the to die for cannolis. Multiple people asked where I got the delicious food. I was delighted to tell them to call Al Patricelli. It’s great food for a reasonable price. The big plus is the service! You can instantly tell that he cares about making your event special. It was a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks so much to Al and his staff! Keep up the great work!”

“I've been coming to Mean Max since the Marie days. When they said they were opening a second location in Troy I was skeptical that they would be able to replicate the special place that is Mean Max. But they managed to out do themselves - starting with a proper, larger, sign. Next they placed this tap room right on Monument Square so there are great restaurants around. The tap room is brighter than Glens Falls on account of windows front and back and has its own vibe...but the beer and great customer service is the same. Well...for the most part. They do have a special lager exclusive to this location (quick tip - look up their Glens Falls venue to see the menu at either location). Staff is always friendly and the beer has great variety - of which they all do well. Definitely a place to stop and visit.”

“Been wanting to eat here for a while and finally did. Panchos is a festive, warm, cheery restaurant that is decorated in such a way that is fun and immersive, like I'm eating at a Mexican festival. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered a couple of Modelo draft beers that were nice and cold, really hot the spot. Complimentary tasty salty and crunchy tortilla chips and salsa were brought to our table right away. We ordered a steak quesadilla to start which was brought amazingly fast! And so delicious!! The steak was seasoned really well, so succulent and savory. I was digging it so much I ordered a burrito with steak for the entree. My girlfriend also loved the quesadilla. She ordered a shrimp burrito next. We also ordered a side of guacamole. I'm a guac fiend! Really good guac, didn't need any salt addition and had a nice cilantro flavor, which I love. My steak burrito was tasty but whereas the steak in the quesadilla was the star and allowed me to savor the seasoned beef, the steak flavor in the burrito was muddled and nearly lost due to the overpowering tomato based sauce that covered the burrito. If I'm going to have a steak burrito I'd rather have a hand held burrito that's stuffed with steak, rice and beans and not covered with sauce. It was still tasty, just barely any steak flavor. My girlfriend liked her burrito but said the shrimp was so small it was hard to taste any shrimp flavor. We will definitely be back and try different offerings next time. We brought the second half of our burritos home to have for breakfast. I think I would like to try an actual Mexican steak dinner there.”

But the best part was everyone who worked there - the service was good, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Very happy with our visit there.”

“From the moment I called Al to discuss catering for an event I was planning I was impressed. He is extremely personable, answered all of my questions and had the quote over to me via text immediately after we spoke the first time and again when I later added mini cannolis to my order. He personally delivered the food to the venue and set up the chafing dishes. It was completely stress free. I returned them the next morning and he came out and got them from my car. Everyone raved about the food. I ordered chicken piccata, stuffed eggplant, rigatoni with sausage, roasted potatoes and green beans, along with delicious warm rolls with butter and of course the to die for cannolis. Multiple people asked where I got the delicious food. I was delighted to tell them to call Al Patricelli. It’s great food for a reasonable price. The big plus is the service! You can instantly tell that he cares about making your event special. It was a huge weight off my shoulders. Thanks so much to Al and his staff! Keep up the great work!”

“My first time visiting River Street market. it was really cool. my friend and I opted to sample a little bit from a few of the different food spots. Taco Libre was our favorite! We went toward the end of the night and they were sold out of pretty much everything- which is a bad for us for a green flag for great food. We got the chicken tacos, they were awesome, like an authentic Mexican street taco, my one suggestion would be asking for double tortilla, all ended up ripping apart but still so juicy and delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try more.”
“We went the first time because I was missing the Gulf Coast shrimp I enjoyed as a younger lady. The location is a bit difficult to get in and out of, maybe it's just my anxiety. I love this place. Staff are friendly, the seasonings are spot on, fresh seafood, delicious fried food. I'm from the deep, dirty south and it is so hard up here to find good seafood. This is great seafood. I am in love with the fruit teas. The shrimp are always juicy and plump. They will mix the garlic butter with the Cajun and it hits the spot every time. I took a point off because the napkins are too small and not enough. You almost need a good washcloth. We never use the bibs you just dive in and enjoy.”

“Jacob Alejandro is *the* perfect coffee spot. It’s a very well thought out establishment. I love the unique curated flavors and that they don’t use your typical flavor shots. I’ve branched out and tried so many flavors in my coffee and was pleasantly surprised with every single one of them. Sure you can save a few dollars and get cheaper coffee other places. But I wouldn’t recommend it. You get what you pay for and here you’re getting the BEST. I’d be totally fine if I never had coffee anywhere but here for the rest of my life. The pastries are delicious as well. And the staff is always friendly! It’s not just coffee, it’s an experience.”
“I liked their barbecue pulled pork sandwich, but there was hardly no sauce on it. The bbq beans also had no bbq sauce in it. The coleslaw was better than the ultra sweet stuff they serve everywhere else. The potato salad was ok. I mean is it really barbecue if it's not sauced well?”
