“Naughter’s is THE breakfast place you want to go to while in Troy (as someone who inherently doesn’t scream about brekkie spots).
The goat cheese omelette special came to me and oh did it sing. I added bacon, because life’s short and why not. An arugula side salad accompanied and was everything. I will be coming back for the spice bag one day. Thank the heavens for local establishments like this.“

“American Food & Deli is easily one of the best spots I’ve tried in the 518 area. I ordered a chopped cheese, 6 honey hot wings, and 6 lemon pepper wings, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy and cooked perfectly. The honey hot had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the lemon pepper was seasoned really well. The chopped cheese was loaded with meat and cheese and was just as good.

The service was excellent too. Before I ordered, the employee let me try a wing, which was a great gesture and showed confidence in the quality of their food. On top of that, the prices are hard to beat for the quality and portions you get.

“B-rads catered my wedding recently. It was by far the best food i have had. For cocktail hour was had bacon wrapped Pierogies, chicken and waffle skewers, coconut shrimp. There was also this massive charcuterie table that everyone was talking about. For dinner we had pulled pork, lemon pepper chicken, and brisket. Sides were mac n cheese, slaw, salad, corn bread, rolls ect. Everything was SO good. The brisket fell apart and was amazing. My husband loved the mac n cheese (it was amazing also). Everyone talked about how amazing the food was. Pricing was good also. They were great to work with leading up to the wedding and even called a couple days before hand to make sure we didn’t need anything else. 10/10 recommend them to cater any event!“

The interior space feels warm, welcoming, and full of good energy every time we visit. “I live in the neighborhood and was really excited when I noticed this place. They are recently re-opened under new ownership (Aug 2026). They specialize in Puerto Rican food but they also offer things like burgers, fries and chicken wings. I tried their beef empanadas, pernil, arroz con gandules, tostones and amarillos/maduros and everything was excellent!!! Seriously delicious. If you are a fan of Puerto Rican and Caribbean food you need to check them out!
The beef empanadas were the first thing I tried and I could immediately tell I was going to be happy here since they were flavorful and well seasoned with sofrito. Fried perfectly! Fresh!
They are doing breakfast, lunch and dinner right now. It's a small family run business and they've been running some daily specials and deals that rotate. The pricing is very reasonable which also encourages me to visit more often.
The dining space includes several tables and some counter seating. There's some cute Puerto Rico themed artwork and music playing. The staff is very friendly, they speak English and Spanish.
I noticed they have a steady stream of customers, which is always a good sign. The food is good!!! They sometimes sell out so come quick!“

“We love the RB, going there, the music, etc. Food is very good, great pizza. Recently did take out of 2 melts, delicious. Couple things though... 1) really really irks me when anyone i'm paying doesnt say thanks, thank you, etc. It was take out, I even gave a nice tip. Say thank you - goes a long way. 2) fries were Ok, not great, pasty and just eh, 3) salad greens were disgusting. Inedible, tasted like they were in dirty water, and 4) parking lot was thrashed. this was sat, so cleanup from friday should've been done. Empty bottles, cans, etc. Gross. We'll go back, but it will be a bit.“

“Great old school dinner. They have it figured out. The food price and quality is right where it needs to be. Service is great. It takes a minute to get the food to the table but that's fine. Everyone is in a freaking hurry today and there is nothing wrong with sitting at the table and enjoying each other's company. It's an older establishment. Some may call it old but there is a certain charm to the old school dinner i believe goes unappreciated today. Sit down and have a meal with people and take your time“

We love the casual feel and while small, you don’t feel too closed in. Also, while our food came out quickly, we weren’t rushed to leave and could spend time enjoying ourselves.“

The chicken wings were good typical buffalo wings. The empanadas were really big as shown, but was too big for how much filling was actually inside but good.“
