“Very lovely owners. Husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat. It was our first time in as we try local spots and very glad we did! Small clean little cafe and the service was exceptional. Very friendly service and I even had to ask a patron what she had ordered because it looked so good! Good portions and prices. We will have to give lunch a try next time.”

“Anthonys is always amazing! Recently had an 11 person dinner there. Every dish came out delish and the service was great! We gave the owner/chef a round of applause when he came out to check on the table. Love the set up/vibe. My favorite restaurant and when you give it a try, it will be yours too.”

“Decent pizza, not the best but far from the worst. Ingredients seemed good but pizza was a bit undercooked (lacking crispnesss but no raw dough or anything extreme).
Biggest gripe was the lack of seasoning.

Staff was nice, and the pricing was reasonable.

--edit(bumping up my review from 3stars) I found myself going back due to lazyness and extreme temps.

They have a large array of seasonings available to the left of checkout and the guy working there was very friendly and was willing to toss my by-the-slice order in the oven to reheat/crisp it.

With seasonings and a little oven TLC the pizza was actually quite good.”

“As a Diner Enthusiast, I can confidently say that this is a hidden gem. I've been to close to 100 diners and the food here rivals the best. The tables were filled with veterans and local regulars that know the waitress by name. I left with a full tummy and a smile on my face. More people should be coming here. “We (six of us) loved our dinners at Smiths earlier this month and our waiter, Jeff, did a superb job for a busy night after a Cohoes Music Hall show. Appetizers were also excellent and we enjoyed them at that fantastic bar!!”

“Ended up here on a random Thursday and splurged! We got coconut macaroons, several different cookies in different flavors, tres leches cupcakes and cannolis. Spent less than $25 on EVERYTHING which was shocking. Will probably be stopping here weekly at this point. Everything was DELICIOUS and affordable !”

“I needed a 1/2 special design sheet cake with only a 2 day lead time and Nelly's came through wonderfully. Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was and how special it looked. It's not easy to get that level of service.”

“Going here everyday, they’re open early and close late, the owners and staff treat you like a friend, they’re even open to requests for products to be ordered if they don’t have it in store. I appreciate their business and ethics.”

“Our son was in a concert at the Cohoes City Music Hall so we went to Spindles for dinner. My son, husband, and I all had a wonderful dinner. We tried the fried deviled eggs and they were delicious. I also highly recommend any dish served with their risotto! It was the best I have had. Spindles is worth checking out!”
