“If you want a quick bite (hamburger, fries, onion rings, fish fry etc.) this is the place. Depending on weather you can sit in (recently nicely updated decor & seating) do take out or sit outside. Best fish in town!”

“This place is really chill and the bathrooms are always clean. Never seen a fight or large noisy crowds here. If you are 25 and older and just want to listen to some music and talk with your friends this is the place to go! Never tried any food here, I actually don't know if they have food, but it is the perfect hang out spot!Parking: There are places to park right out front, no garage. But this place isn't usually jam packed so there should be enough room to park.”

“We stopped by at the end of the day on a Friday. First, the atmosphere inside was cheery and welcoming. It reminded me of a bar like the old series “Cheers” or the Ben Affleck movie “The Tender Bar” - people were gathered like old friends at the end of a long work week. Katy was the bartender and server - very welcoming, upbeat- we can’t say enough about the great service we got. Now the food - we had read great reviews from Facebook and finally had a chance to try it out. We were not disappointed! This is pub food better than best - it’s the real deal. First we started with an order of honey BBQ bone in wings (they have many sauce flavor options)- best we’ve had in the capital region - hot, crispy, large sized and absolutely delicious. Next we tried the plain Mac and cheese and it, too, was delicious- lovely melted cheese on top of cavatappi pasta with a lovely blend of creamy cheeses underneath. We didn’t need to add any salt because the flavors were perfectly delicious already. Next we had the pulled pork sandwich that came with Cole slaw and their homemade, hand cut fries. I opted for onion rings. Can’t even begin to describe how delicious everything was - the pulled pork had excellent smoky tenderness, the Cole slaw was delicious — (too many places just can’t make a good Cole slaw but this place has it down !)And then there are the fries and onion rings - wow - both were excellent! Super flavor and perfect light crispy texture- haven’t had good fries/onion rings like this in years! The menu had many other pub fare options from chicken to salads and burgers. It’s a small cozy place inside, people are very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Katy was great and she makes a top notch White Russian. Our hats go off to the chefs/cooks for the extra mile on serving amazing pub food that sets this place apart from so many other places in the Capital Region”

“There were 25-30 of us that came after a funeral. We each ordered individual means from the menu. Dan didn't miss a beat!! Our meals ALL arrived timely. Drink orders were replenshed timely. The staff was happy, friendly. Dan saw us before leaving and asked how everything was, it was FABULOUS and IMPRESSIVE!!”

“Hidden charm of Watervliet. Great food! I've been ordering from here for over 20 years now and never have had a bad meal. I go out of my way to order and drive here although I live in a different town with plenty of pizza places. Most recently I've tried different calzone options and they are all delicious! Good ingredients, large portions, baked perfectly. In the past I've eaten multiple great pizzas and wings, but those calzones are the best!!! 5 stars for the food! Only giving 4/5 stars because the outside of the business has not been painted or improved in the last 20 years. Looks very rough on the outside and if I didnt know already their food is fantastic I wouldn't try them or walk inside. Invest in a coat of paint and please add one chair inside. If I show up a few minutes early I have to stand there or go back out to my car to sit and both options are painful to me. I have bad hips so walking and standing are issues and I hurt either way. A chair would be greatly appreciated by your disabled customers. Thank you and good luck!!”

“This was the 2nd time recently ordering from them. Cheese pizza, pepperoni Stromboli, Buffalo chicken wings & ham sub were done to perfection. Ordered delivery both times & we received it quicker than anticipated. Everything was hot, fresh & delicious. Truly can't say enough nice things.”
