“This job is very stressful especially at night. The girl working the drive thru handles herself very well and doesn’t let it get to her. I used to do this job so I know just how stressful this can be especially on the closing shift. These corporations want to squeeze as much as they can out of as little as possible. Their only concern is profit and drive thru times. They send everyone home to cut labor costs and expect 3 people to accommodate late night rushes. One person in drive thru, one person making food and one manager. Then they complain when their drive thru times are through the roof. You can’t expect 3 people to run a restaurant and get their closing tasks done on time so you can save on your labor. If you come to any one of these places at night and you wonder why you’re sitting in drive through for 20 plus minutes, just know that 99.9 percent of the time it’s not the employees fault. They are stretched thin to the max. It’s the greedy corporations that run these places. Hang in there yall are doing what you can.“

“My favorite place in the area, as the food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are huge and Sal and his staff are amazing; he can come up with anything even if it’s not listed on the menu. They get busy with lunch rush from the hospital and still manage to get everyone in and out. I highly recommend their spicy falafel gyro! My daughter loves their chopped salmon and her best friend is obsessed with the chopped cheese sandwiches. It gives NYC deli vibes. I come here for lunch every week and have yet to leave unsatisfied. They have vegan options as well and there is something for everyone here.“

“I am very happy with my order. I ripped into the bag as soon as I got in my car. I grabbed some of the fries. They were so fresh and delicious!!!! I was doing a happy dance at the red light. I opened my burger and it looked so good. I took a bit and it was tasty. The meat was seasoned perfectly. The bun was fresh and soft. I’ll be going back to try the chicken soon.“

“I have to give them across the board. On this delivery. All five stars. I called back and pointed out that I did not receive the grilled chicken for my salad. However, I did receive everything else. It turns out that the same person who delivered my meal. Answered the phone call and redelivered my salad while making sure that they put everything in it. I will call back and order again. Well done sir. I'm impressed. Usually they try to refund your money. When you actually wanted the food. Which puts you at a loss. Like I said. I will call back. Well done!“

“Went for the Galentine's brunch. By the time we got there (11:30, event started at 10) they were already out of the bracelets that they advertized? I wouldn't have gone if it was just brunch...food was mediocre, had no seasoning. You also couldn't get like eggs on the side or anything. “We recently approached the owner of Sammy Cohens (Lisa) with a last minute request to host a small wedding at their restaurant. We will never regret that decision!!!! Lisa met with the Future Bride and Groom, helped them with menu items, decor for the banquet room and worked with them to plan their wedding and reception with less than a weeks notice!!! They prepared the room which looked beautiful, arranged for two servers (Courtney and Will: Love them both to pieces), who were beyond amazing, set up a trellis for a backdrop, decorated the tables and served the MOST amazing food! The experience from the first phone call to the end of the reception was picture perfect! Every single guest commented how great the food was and how beautiful the banquet room looked. Lisa could not have done more for us, she was excited for us and treated us like family. She met with the bride and groom two times before the wedding to ensure everything would be as they hoped, and checked in on the venue. And.....her prices were absolutely amazing!! We have a wonderful gift sitting right here in Schaghticoke and we are lucky to have a nice restaurant where we can go out and eat locally, and it is owned by someone who not only cares about the community, but each individual person who approaches her with a special (and very last minute) request. Lisa, you made their wedding day a perfect memory in their lives!!!“
