I also highly recommend any dish served with their risotto! It was the best I have had. Spindles is worth checking out!“

Before I booked the dinner I reached out to Michael the owner to see if they would accommodate a kosher guest, knowing that the restaurant wasn’t kosher. Mike said the restaurant could plate a kosher meal that we brought in. The process was seamless and we are thankful for the accommodation!“

“I’ve been looking forward to checking out the restaurant, Dove & Deer, since I first encountered their food when their chef was highlighted at the annual Summer Gala fundraiser here in Hudson last year. Their chef served an incredible amuse-bouche with gooseberries and the chef who was there sharing the amuse-bouches was wonderfully charming and the food was incredible! I was so impressed that I’ve been following their social media since then and have been looking forward to visiting the restaurant all the while! I was recently in the area and while I unfortunately wasn’t able to visit the restaurant in person- I was able to order through Door Dash and the meal was incredible! We ordered an assortment of things to share and were thrilled with everything! -Spicy Kale Caesar with shredded kale, croutons, and shaved parmesan! -Truffle Parm Fries with scallions and truffle aioli! -Mini Wagyu Beef Hotdogs made with wagyu beef, served in buttery toasted buns, and topped with mustard, ketchup, and relish! -Hot Lobster Dip made with lobster claw and knuckle meat, gruyere, gouda, fontina, spinach, scallion, and crispy wontons! It is often very difficult for a restaurant to adjust their menu to translate to takeout; and for them to do so where every single dish was not only delicious but also mostly with a great presentation, says a great deal about their attention to detail. This is a restaurant I look forward to dining at again many more times over the years!“

“Fantastic experience earlier this month having Sunday Brunch with my son and our American cousins at Lost & Found. This place is great! The real America, in Albany, away from the well-beaten tourist tracks. Friendly service, great menu, tasty food, and the proprietor is a gent - even let us get group photos on the stage as he hadn’t a band at the time! It was a wet Sunday but we just had a great family get together inside. Not that far from the city centre and worth finding. Very good value as well.“

Classic pub style seating and experience. Head up to the bar to order your food and drink, head back with your drinks and wait for the food. Theres tvs showing multiple different games but if youre not there for that the rest of the interior is the perfect astethic for a comfy night at the local bar.

“Instead of recommending the restaurant or not I wish I could rate it with stars. I would give a 3.75 the food was the good. The service was good. The atmosphere was good. Nothing was stand out amazing. For the price I would think the entrees would come with a salad or bread for the table but they do not. Drinks of course were expensive as anywhere but I got the smallest pour of wine I’ve probably ever received. We went for a special occasion and I wish we would have went somewhere else. Maybe I’ll try again with friends again for lunch and hope for a better experience.“

From our hostess, Koisi who set the tone to our server, Susan, who paid attention to every detail, to the manager, Dianna, who attended to my allergy needs, this was a night to rememeber. HUGE shout out to Chef Gary and his Korean Salmon bites and penne Ala pesto! As a vegetarian who needs to be gluten free, I was floored to find a restaurant with such flavorful choices. Thank you for paying close attention to my allergy/sensitivity needs and to having the manager double check. I've never had that happen. “B-rads catered my wedding recently. It was by far the best food i have had. For cocktail hour was had bacon wrapped Pierogies, chicken and waffle skewers, coconut shrimp. There was also this massive charcuterie table that everyone was talking about. For dinner we had pulled pork, lemon pepper chicken, and brisket. Sides were mac n cheese, slaw, salad, corn bread, rolls ect. Everything was SO good. The brisket fell apart and was amazing. My husband loved the mac n cheese (it was amazing also). Everyone talked about how amazing the food was. Pricing was good also. They were great to work with leading up to the wedding and even called a couple days before hand to make sure we didn’t need anything else. 10/10 recommend them to cater any event!“

“Always friendly service, great options on the menu (they make custom changes), happy hour specials, and they have a great event schedule! Don’t forget to come in for your birthday- wings or clams or n the house!!! When we go for a birthday celebration we always get deer off the menu and get drink specials as well!!! I would suggest the Eggplant stack but ask for the Lisa Special- pesto instead of marinara!!! It’s absolutely to die for!!!“

“My husband and I stayed at the hotel next door . We ordered Togo and to our surprise , the food was amazing French dip so savory and if you have a big appetite it was enough to satisfy. “Wheatfields makes their own pasta. They have 3 gluten-free options for pasta which is just unheard of for most restaurants. I ordered the shrimp and spinach dish on gluten-free linguine. It was savory and absolutely delicious. We love their truffle fries so we ordered those too and they were as good as I remembered. They come with garlic aoli sauce.

The atmosphere is nice with a couple of fireplaces located in the restaurant. There are booths and open tables. There is also a bar and it has seating but I don't know if you can order food from there. My husband got the caramel crunch cake for dessert and he loved it. It was a nice, quiet experience with good food and our server was fantastic.“

“I came in between 4 and 5pm with my husband. We are frequent visitors of the Latham location. When we were being cashed out, we were abruptly interrupted when a older male (assuming their boss) came from the back and started (quite rudely) yelling at the employees working the front. It was quite unappetizing to see them being spoken to in that manner, especially in front of customers. The friendly employees are one of the main reasons my husband and I favor this location. I am quite surprised they did not quit on the spot. I gave them a sympathetic look before putting money in one of the tip jars.“

“I do not recommend this place at all. Over priced frozen dinners from the corner store. Wait time to get dinner 2 hours and 36 mins. If you want a drink you have to wait 45 mins to get a simple soda. Our waiter AJ kicked butt. He was super busy. We even offered to help clean table off. The manger was a grumpy and hard to work with. We ordered wings for appetizers and it took 1 hour and 35 mins. Definitely never coming back.“
