Great location on the Mohawk river, nice green space across the street. Inside was what I'd describe as a joint, in the best sense.

Interesting decor, lively and popular at times. We were seated and then came the popcorn bowl and I'm thinking I don't want popcorn yet we ate it down anyway 😂

The steamed clams are definitely worth an order. The fish and chips was perfectly cooked. Not heavily breaded, not greasy, just perfectly cooked. Tender and delicious fish with food fries. The coleslaw had a sweetness to it from the pineapple, trust me it was good. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos.

Staff were friendly and service was good. We ate after the early dinner rush but finished before the party crowd got there.

This place has some of the best cocktails I’ve had, easily rivaling overpriced drinks in Manhattan - shout out to Tom!
If you have no idea what you want to drink, no worries, talk to the bartenders, they’ll help you, might even whip up something creative on the spot.
Monday nights belong to Brian the bacon guru, baby I eat pork again when I roll up here on a Monday (I pay for it later too, well worth it, lol).

The patrons are some of the most diverse and amazingly chill group of folks I’ve encountered since moving from the multicultural NYC life - Bx to be exact - to the parts up yonder.

The owner, Joe, is one of the kindest humans, and honey like attracts like, because his team definitely match his energy, they are hands down, some of my favorite people up here! Special shout out to Victoria & Corrine ❤️!

“Whenever I fly out of Albany Airport, I always stop by Hudson's for a pre-flight drink. I've consistently had positive experiences—friendly bartenders and quick service every time. It's also conveniently located near most of the airlines I fly with, which makes it an easy stop. I haven’t tried the food yet, so I can’t speak to that, but I definitely recommend grabbing a drink here if you’ve got a little time before your flight!“

“We recently approached the owner of Sammy Cohens (Lisa) with a last minute request to host a small wedding at their restaurant. We will never regret that decision!!!! Lisa met with the Future Bride and Groom, helped them with menu items, decor for the banquet room and worked with them to plan their wedding and reception with less than a weeks notice!!! They prepared the room which looked beautiful, arranged for two servers (Courtney and Will: Love them both to pieces), who were beyond amazing, set up a trellis for a backdrop, decorated the tables and served the MOST amazing food! The experience from the first phone call to the end of the reception was picture perfect! Every single guest commented how great the food was and how beautiful the banquet room looked. Lisa could not have done more for us, she was excited for us and treated us like family. She met with the bride and groom two times before the wedding to ensure everything would be as they hoped, and checked in on the venue. And.....her prices were absolutely amazing!! We have a wonderful gift sitting right here in Schaghticoke and we are lucky to have a nice restaurant where we can go out and eat locally, and it is owned by someone who not only cares about the community, but each individual person who approaches her with a special (and very last minute) request.
