“Came from NYC to spend the weekend and felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem at this bar. They have a nicely sized cocktail menu with friendly staff and great drinks. The vibe was on point with a really solid DJ. My wife and I were thrilled that we stopped in at The Misfit, hung out for a few hours, and will absolutely be making this a stop on our return trips to Saratoga. Lucy’s Bar Bar • $
5 Caroline St, Saratoga Springs

“What a great space! Visiting Saratoga Springs for the first time, and we were looking for a diverse fun bar for a few drinks after dinner. Lucy's was actually booked for their first drag bingo, but thought they might be able to fit us in, so the very friendly owners took our number. In less than ten minutes we got their call, and headed over for a grand time! The show was a blast, my hubster won the first game, and we just felt happily at home which is kinda all that you can ask for. I love a good bar, and having three owners who are as welcoming and genuinely friendly as Lucy's is what makes one - kudos to all, and thank you for a wonderful night. HIGHLY recommended!“

“An absolute gem of a place! I got the Shrimps & Scallops Marinara and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. A touch spicy but not overpowering. The linguine soaked up the sauce perfectly. I ate all the scallops and knew I had to take the rest home because it was a huge portion. Lightly heated the next day with the shrimp and it was still perfection! Only thing is, my salad was drenched in the dressing. IMO next time def dressing on the side. The blue cheese in the house dressing was delicious. We drove almost an hour and would def do it again! Btw the fresh bread with herbs butter was fresh and delicious!“

“Been here a few times now so I feel like I have a good feel for the place. It's definitely a locals kinda place but not the kind of place you feel unwelcome if you are not a local or are new to the area like myself. They have different activities all week long, like Karoke, Trivia, BINGO, etc. There's ample parking. They have an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. I would consider this a "dive" but only because most other places in the area are so bougie and Kings is no frills, slightly shabby but also is cool. The best kinda place in my opinion. The staff I've encountered are friendly and hardworking. We were there on St Patrick's Day and it was packed! They still served everyone with a smile and were hustling to keep people from waiting too long for drinks. Not to mention they were clearly well staffed. I think the prices are reasonable and they have the mug club which is cool. Haven't really gotten to eat their food there yet so I'll update when we do.“

“I would like to say that my ratings are genuine from the heart. Not only is the owner of this establishment a great man and a stand-up individual, but he is very! Polite and respectful. My condolences go out to any customers of any ethnicity if they have ever felt discomforts. One thing I can assure is!! The owners, or employees, etc, are absolutely not racist in any way, shape, or form. I am a man of color, and I have not only visited this club for years, but I have also witnessed how they treat people. If you want to hear good music and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere!! Make sure you stop in ?“

They have a full bar with anything you like. We had two cocktails to see how good their mixology skills are, a vodka martini and a burbon Manhattan, and both were perfect! Their menu is elevated pub food with daily specials and some unique dishes such as the Irish Cuban sandwich. The food was fresh, homemade, and delicious! If I had to guess, they have a real chef on staff. Round all of this out with their impeccable service, and I have no choice but to give it five stars.Pro Tip: If your gluten free this place is a must visit.“

“I have to say, this is an amazing place. As a fine dining Executive Chef, I'm so picky whenever I eat at any restaurant. Unfortunately we live in an age that many people don't care what quality they offer within their restaurant. Not this place! Everything was top notch, the service was great from the second we walked in, to when we were leaving. Our wonderful very attentive waitress Nollah really did well with being attentive, because she was very busy. She took time to introduce herself and to speak with us and to follow up to make sure we were doing well and enjoying ourselves. She's a waitress that every restaurant hopes for.We started out with the meatball appetizer, and that was a hit. Made of pork, veal and beef and it was cooked to perfection. You are able to taste that those meatballs were made from scratch and have never seen a freezer! We had the eggplant and spicy sausage rigatoni and it was great. Whomever is the chef should get a raise for truly showing he cares with how every dish came out of that kitchen! The hostess was also very attentive, this indeed was a great experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the owners, to management, to the staff for showing they care for this business of culinary with not only the amazing service, or amazing ambiance, but for the food being made with such love and an eye for perfection. So if you are in Saratoga, and want an amazing experience, in the mood for great Italian food, this place is a must try. You will not regret it!“

The Bourbon Room Bar • $$

“The Bourbon Room is a gem on Caroline Street with excellent craft cocktails and of course a wide selection of bourbon and whiskey at all price points. I visit with friends at least once a week, sometimes more often, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed without ever losing class. I believe it is due to the bartenders (namely Zach) who are knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, as well as respectful, friendly, and accommodating, that this place can be the great spot that it is today. Stop in, enjoy some bourbon, and tip your bartenders well!“

Will be there in a couple of weeks and will definitely spend a couple of days there.“

“This has been my favorite bar for 10 years. They are consistently wonderful. From the owners to the bartenders, especially Mel. They are an integral part of the community. You aren’t fully experiencing Saratoga Springs without a visit to this establishment. They’re open 7 days a week, earlier than everyone else, and the food is delicious. Very reasonably priced. This is not a paid partnership, I just really love Trotters.“

Flatbread Pizza

“Well, reading all the reviews, I realized how difficult it is to own a restaurant this days! You dealing to please all customers best you can, but customers get confused from the owner’s concept/idea, his way to impress you.As a Greek, coming also from the food/restaurant business and leaving local, makes me a hard pallete to please!!! Let’s give it a try I said and made a reservation for 6.My first impression when I walk in,… what a cozy “winter” place to be! Congrats to the Architect. We seat at the bar and I felt it was a BAR, bartender with a smile and great drinks! The hostess walk us to the table, ( reading other reviews complaining that the tables are too close), I have to say, Great atmosphere! We order 3 pizzas to start - excellent - 2 green salads 2 Mixed seafood ( we order bread so we can deep to the tasty sauce ) and 1 chicken, everything was delicious! Our server was great! Now about portions! The place is “made” to serve mezze style plates that you can enjoy with your wine or a drink. Now time to mention, how about price?, when in this town you pay $29 for a simple 6oz burger w/ freihofer’s bun, what you except to pay for a place with a chef? and in fact a great one, at least, in my book!Thank you to the stuff for your great service, WE BE BACK!“
