Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. We should have eaten at the burger place a few doors down.“

“Ate 2 pizzas from Defazios from next door which was delicious and delivered to ADC. The atmosphere was quaint and the drinks were excellent! Our bartender was courteous and gave us recommendations on what to order. We will definitely be returning.“

Friendly staff, too, and some entertainment on the TV. You can bring your own food. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but maybe there's some spot nearby we didn't know of that would have been better than street parking“

Giant games too.City parking. Not wheelchair accessible. Narrow, dark stairs to get downstairs, opens up to a big game area.“

So the essentials are covered, and then past that you have an awesome craft beer selection and a couple things that separate it from other beer bars. One, everything comes in a 10oz or 20oz glass. The former is great if you wanna try a few things, the latter for staying a while. Two, they have three casks. Old Mahar's regulars will remember what that's like. And with the casks, they keep a lot of English and Scottish beers that other local spots don't. Basically, this is a beer-drinkers laid-back paradise.“

Very laid back atmosphere and not noisy at all where we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell to hear each other. I ended up getting a bowl of the chili, which was amazing. Had the perfect amount of meat and beans in it. And I also had an order of fried mushrooms that were also amazing. Alot of places when you order fried mushrooms the breading just falls right off and mushrooms are mushy, but these were nice and crispy and batter tasted great. The bartender Brittany did and amazing job as well. She was really quick and was always there to make sure are drinks for good and also had great conversations with her. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice bar with great food.“

“Our son was in a concert at the Cohoes City Music Hall so we went to Spindles for dinner. My son, husband, and I all had a wonderful dinner. We tried the fried deviled eggs and they were delicious. I also highly recommend any dish served with their risotto! It was the best I have had. Spindles is worth checking out!“
