My husband and I have been going to Pennel's ever since we were dating in 1963. This is our every family occasion celebration restaurant. Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's. It has been a part of our family tradition for over 60 years, and I just know our children will continue it for years to come. Great meals and memories! Thank you Pennell's.
Terrific dining experience. Food was superb. Wait staff attentive. Nice warm spot for a fun dinner with several friends. So glad we were brought here!!
Love the restaurant. Great layout, great bar. Very welcoming. Our visit was mid September, some time after the Race Course (aka The Track) closed on Labor Day, so traffic was lighter. Hooray! We’re bar people so we sat at the bar. And glad we did. Sheila, our bartender, was a great hostess. We had Greek style shrimp appetizer which was great.
