“They absolutely were not exaggerating how legendary the reuben is, first of all.
This is a bar, to be clear. Yeah, its not atmospheric or pretty. That's not what it's for. Yeah, the prices feel a little steep, but the second you see the food- and then the second you taste the food- you will ABSOLUTELY understand why. It was our first time of what I am certain will be MANY. there was trivia happening which also seemed super fun.
I can't overstate how QUICKKKK and attentive the service was for a huge packed establishment on a Friday night. Our server (can't remember her name, but she had awesome curls) was so quick and efficient but still super friendly, which is a tough balance!!
I got the redneck burger, which was a PEEERFECTTTT textbook-worthy medium rare. My partner got the reuben which left him speechless, he'd been wanting to try it forever and was not let down. The wings (we got carolina gold) were also EXCELLENT. My mule was absolutely decent, his beer was a beer.
Everything was great. Everything.
Don't expect cushy chairs or mood lighting. Expect a FAAAAANTASTIC meal and a fun time. You wont be disappointed.“

“Best bacon deluxe burger at 9pm in town. The new renovation really made this a refreshing place that it needed. Very good. And I can get a choice of a potato salad on the side. Because deep fried food seed oils make my gal bladder hurt. Good options for that.“

“It's a locals bar, very friendly, no issues, very clean, not a late night type of place, no food at moment but supposed to start again soon, you can take food in if you like from pizza joint next door, has trivia and karaoke nights, Randall the owner is very nice, bartenders as well. “Dave was the definition of your friendly neighborhood bartender. The food was excellent and speedy. They have a great selection of local beers on tap from around the state. As a person that works in the industry, I can confidently say I will be returning regularly.“

“Great food...very resonable..big portions..tried other ltalian places..we always wind up here..owner is a sweatheart..always greets us..would have to go to Canales in Schenectady to get the same portions and quality“

“ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“

“👍👍Can't say enough about how wonderful and accommodating Patty and her fantastic staff were when they recently allowed us to host a memorial service dinner on their enclosed patio. From the start, Patty met most every request with a prompt response that was both positive and reassuring. The space was perfect for our group, the food was met with positive reviews from all of our group of folks from toddlers to seniors, and the service provided by Allison, Candace and the rest of their crew was sweet, attentive, and efficient. If you are looking for a nice space with a local history vibe and unpretentious atmosphere with consistently good food and great service, Cooper's Cave is a great option. Thank you Patty and your entire crew!!“

“Great place for food, drinks and a very chill environment! We ate here before the Thunder hockey game (pro-tip - if you park near the restaurant early enough to get dinner, you already have a parking spot for the game 😉), and we enjoyed our experience. Our food was very fresh and hot, the beer was tasty and our server was very friendly and helpful. Highlights for me were the Mozzarella sticks (probably the best I've ever had!) and ice cold beer (I had the amber lager). The decor is also very eye-catching with lots of beautiful woodwork. Definitely check it out!“
