“Went here for lunch with good friends who come here often it was every thing they said it would be and more the food was excellent. The service was great even though they were very crowded at lunch. We did not feel rushed at all in fact we were there for over two hours. I will definitely return When back in the area.“

I like their take on Dragon & Phoenix (called Double Wonder, pictured), it actually makes more sense as the shrimp is spicy too. The egg drop won ton soup was prepared perfectly as well. “Really glad to have Empire Wok so close to home here in Delmar. I'm in Glenmont but it's only 5 minutes away. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly to me and my girl. We ordered BBQ spare ribs with pork fried rice and chicken wings with pork fried rice (no veggies). Both were fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. I used to order Chinese food a lot in the Bronx, so it’s great to finally have a place nearby that’s just as good. Definitely recommend!“

“I got takeout. Overall everything was good. The items that had sweeter sauces like the pork ribs and crab Rangoon were almost sickly sweet. For example the crab Rangoon tasted like it had cheesecake filling. On top of being overly sweet, the pork ribs were overcooked.

The sauce on the orange chicken was so thin it wasn't sticking to the meat. But the meat was nice and crispy.

Dumplings and egg rolls were good as well as the beef with mushroom.“

“Best quality Chinese takeout in Schenectady. Fried foods are not soaking in oil. The egg roll I had was nicely deep fried and the wrapper was not soaked in oil! Same with the fried rice and food. Everything tasted like it was cooked with clean oil and not drenched in oil. I would say quality of food is definitely a step above your typical Chinese takeout. Try them out! Highly recommend.“

Selections were cold, sesame noodles, shrimp, eggroll, eggplant, garlic sauce, sesame, tofu, vegetable mushu, shrimp, chow mein, and vegetable fried rice. Everything arrived hot and I think they are now my favorite take out Chinese in the area. Normally eggplant and garlic sauce is dripping with oil. This was not. Ditto for the tofu. There are slight extra charges for things such as putting egg in the vegetable fried rice, but it is made the way we asked it to be made, and the delivery was quick and accurate. much better than using an online ordering app. I think the restaurant makes it better with direct ordering and we did too. This will be our go to rather than the two or three others in the immediate area.“

The fried rice was great in my lunchtime order, definitely not dry.
I won't name names, but I see reviews that have 1 star on atmosphere, appeared to have been delivery. Maybe you meant your own space (where you consumed the food) has a terrible atmosphere?

“I've ordered from this place multiple times through Uber Eats and have had a good experience majority of the time. I just never left a review until now. I try to NEVER order from a place that's about to close in less than an hour, but my food still arrived hot, fresh & correctly. Not that anyone should start ordering at the last minute, but i didnt want to order from the other Chinese spots and not like it so I ordered from them. (My usual delivery place). Sorry for the long review
