“Went here for lunch with good friends who come here often it was every thing they said it would be and more the food was excellent. The service was great even though they were very crowded at lunch. We did not feel rushed at all in fact we were there for over two hours. I will definitely return When back in the area.“

Tried some new things like Chop Suey and Buddha's delight. Everything is super solid and delicious, lots of sauce. I like their take on Dragon & Phoenix (called Double Wonder, pictured), it actually makes more sense as the shrimp is spicy too. The egg drop won ton soup was prepared perfectly as well. “We just moved to the area and have tried many different Asian cuisines. Tai pan was the best priced and the quality of the sesame chicken outshined all the other restaurants near by. The mei fun was super good too. The crab wontons were super fresh and not heavy in fried wrapper. The balance was perfect. One complaint was not enough white rice but that’s an easy fix for next time and didn’t take away from the experience. My husband got the red curry with no to lite spice and they made it just right. We did take away and plan for this to be our go to spot going forward.

PS - make it so you can order springs rolls on your website :) I only see it as an add on in the combos“

“I got takeout. Overall everything was good. The items that had sweeter sauces like the pork ribs and crab Rangoon were almost sickly sweet. For example the crab Rangoon tasted like it had cheesecake filling. On top of being overly sweet, the pork ribs were overcooked.

The sauce on the orange chicken was so thin it wasn't sticking to the meat. But the meat was nice and crispy.

Incredibly reasonable prices, the most generous portions in the area, and consistently fantastic egg rolls and fried wontons. i personally love the boneless spare ribs the most! (also one of the only places in this area that puts beansprouts in the fried rice, so delicious!)

its also very telling that the only badmouthing ive seen is because of chicken that someone claimed was overcooked after they knowingly left it in the container tightly packed into a sealed bag for like an hour before eating it, which would obviously leave anything inside overcooked from trapped residual heat.“

Selections were cold, sesame noodles, shrimp, eggroll, eggplant, garlic sauce, sesame, tofu, vegetable mushu, shrimp, chow mein, and vegetable fried rice. Everything arrived hot and I think they are now my favorite take out Chinese in the area. Normally eggplant and garlic sauce is dripping with oil. This was not. Ditto for the tofu. There are slight extra charges for things such as putting egg in the vegetable fried rice, but it is made the way we asked it to be made, and the delivery was quick and accurate. much better than using an online ordering app. I think the restaurant makes it better with direct ordering and we did too. This will be our go to rather than the two or three others in the immediate area.“

“Best quality Chinese takeout in Schenectady. Fried foods are not soaking in oil. The egg roll I had was nicely deep fried and the wrapper was not soaked in oil! Same with the fried rice and food. The food is always great, the servings are beautifully large, and I’ve never had a bad experience with them. They’re so quick with the order too! And apparently, in all 10 years, they’ve never messed up an order. Some of our favorite items: Hunan chicken, boneless spare ribs, egg rolls, General Tso, and pork dumplings.“

Very delicious, I was super surprised at how fast the food came and how well packaged it was. They give you this cute little insulated bag and the silverware was also packaged separately and the packed it so well. “Fast delivery, especially for a Saturday. Lunch specials are generous. To the people who say the tariffs made their price to high, new no 1 has lower prices than many others in the area.
The fried rice was great in my lunchtime order, definitely not dry.
I won't name names, but I see reviews that have 1 star on atmosphere, appeared to have been delivery. Maybe you meant your own space (where you consumed the food) has a terrible atmosphere?

I also won't name my regular Chinese restaurant's name either, it is safe to say that I now have switched to new. No 1
