Sticky rice and mango ... and 4 forks please! 🤣 I’m uncomfortably full (my fault) but can’t wait to go back.“

“Situated near the waterfront, this restaurant serves good Thai cuisine. We ordered a Thai green curry, fried rice, Raw mango Thai curry, and Hannanaise chicken. The gravies were accompanied by a bowl of rice.
Quite well prepared. I had the Thai green curry which I felt was flavorful, very well prepared chicken, and not too much coconut? Usually the gravy has this coconut ingredient and does well. However, this was a bit on the thinner side but quite tasty. The raw mango gravy which I tasted felt good. The fried rice was okay.
Service was good and the host attentive.

“This place will ruin you for pad tai because after having his, no other restaurant compares. He puts so much into it, the noodles are perfect and there are bean sprouts and peanuts and he ask how spicey you want it and don’t even get me started on the portion size, plenty for two and very reasonably priced. “Bua Thai & Sushi is hands down my husband’s and my favorite place to eat. The food is consistently fresh, and the portions are generous, ensuring we leave satisfied every time. The owner, Lex, is incredibly friendly and always makes a point to check in with us, ensuring everything is perfect, which it always is.

The wait staff and chef is just as hospitable, going above and beyond to provide excellent service. The restaurant itself is spotless – cleanliness is a top priority for us, and Bua exceeds our expectations. My husband always opts for the sashimi and often takes home one of their delicious Thai soups. As for me, I love the orange chicken box because it offers a variety of options that never disappoint.

“Sometimes you just want Wanton Soup. Bamboo does a great job with all their dumplings and the other American Chinese food. The owners seem to be an older couple that care more about their food quality than anywhere else in Schenectady. I wish they made real Chinese food as well! I feel like they would make killer Dongpo Pork, Chicken Feet, Tendon with Sea Cucumber, Jellyfish Salad, etc. If you like Beef Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour, this place has the BEST American style Chinese food. I haven't tried their pork yet, and that is usually the protein American Chinese makes hard, dry, and sometimes inedible (Scotia/Glenville Chinese food comes to mind, if anyone could make decent Asian food, you'd make generational wealth with all the terrible Asian food in Scotia/Glenville). The only bad thing is the atmosphere. Let's be honest, you aren't bringing a date here, or sitting down for a traditional family style Chinese meal. So atmosphere shouldn't be a problem. This isn't my favorite style of food, I'd rather go to Hu's House or Ala Shanghai. If American Chinese is your thing, DEFINITELY give this place a try!!!“

“we love tengu asian bistro! it's our favorite place for sushi! especially today...I think we received the best grab Rangoon ever!! idk what is different about it, but it almost tastes like there's a coconut flavor in them as well as the dipping sauce. they were great to begin with, but whatever was done differently today was even better, keep doing it!“
