“We went to this restaurant with empty bellies and came out stuffed with delicious food. I got the drunken noodles, and they were scrumptious but pretty spicy. The guy asked if we wanted mild, medium, spicy, or really spicy. I got medium, and I almost died. Maybe I'm just weak to spices, or medium is more spicy that you think! :“
“Amazing place, amazing food. Everything I've tried has been very tasty. I love the curries. Word of caution: their spicy levels seem to be a bit spicier than other places. I've found spicy level ratings to be pretty consistent in other restaurants, I know what to expect whether I order a 3 or 4. My level 3 was definitely more like a level 4. Absolutely delicious, just be mindful if you aren't big into spicy. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner“
“This cozy little restaurant tucked away on a cobblestone street in downtown Albany makes my ?sing. The food is always on point, my favorite it the Tom Ka Chicken soup made with coconut milk. The wait staff needs some training, and they are slow as molasses in February, we just know that going in.“
“Wow wow wow! I am from Delaware and found this place on google. I must say I am not easily impressed when it comes to food but my food from here was great. I got the spicy crab roll it was goid and my shrimp and beef lo mein was delish. I wasnt dry and had a fair amount of both meats. Also priced very reasonable.“
“Just had lunch but I have eaten a lot of Thai food, including in Bangkok and the food I had here was delicious. Note that they accurately matched the heat level unlike other places where you ask for medium and there’s not spice at all (Thai food should be a little spicy at least in my opinion) - I’d highly recommend this place if you want tasty Thai food“
“My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Albany in 2017. During COVID and a little after I noticed an increase in food prices and a decrease in quantity and quality but we love it so much that we had to try it again. Most recently the food was back to the large portions and delicious dishes that make this place a staple on Lark st. The dine in service is a little slow because it's usually only 1 person doing both take out and the dining room but the food comes out fast so if you're with good company or just trying to have a nice meal alone, you won't really notice until you need something. I like the new bubble tea additions to the menu. Everything we had last time including the dessert was phenomenal! Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.“
“Thai Orchid has amazing food. The Masaman Curry was the best we have had. Everything is fresh and prepared exceptionally. Thank you Sha for the wonderful dining experience you gave us. Orchid Thai is our favorite Thai restaurant from now on!“
“Very fresh ingredients! Server was very nice! Lots of cilantro stems....had to pick those off but the cilantro leaves were delicious. Next time I'll do the cilantro in the side! The salad dressing is fresh and tasty. The soup was my fav item....I'd come back for just this! Heads up mamas.....no kid menu though! I do recommend this place! 5 stars“
“Always delicious, speedy and the friendliest service. Best curry, tofu and lemonade I have ever had!!! Plants everywhere, lovely atmosphere for dining in. The food always is just as delicious when getting it to go and they’re so quick. I can’t recommend enough!“
“What a great discovery! My first time having Thai food- and it was a great experience! This restaurant is impeccably clean (restrooms too!) Delicious freshly prepared food, nice sized portions came quickly and with friendly attentive service!!Vegetarian options: One dining companion is strictly vegan- and she was able to select from many available options!Dietary restrictions: One of our dining party has a serious dairy allergy and we were assured no butter nor any dairy is used! A win for him!!!“
“I've ordered from Tamarind Thai numerous times and love how they are consistent! I've eaten red curry and pad Thai - both excellent options. I've eaten pad Thai from other establishments and Tamarind Thai, hands down, has the best Pad Thai. It's very straightforward and delicious - rice noodles, bean sprouts, and peanuts - which is just how I love it!“
“This is my favorite spot for Japanese food in or around Albany. The fish is always fresh and reasonably priced. I have to stop myself from ordering here every week. I love the ambience in the restaurant as well. They have a beautiful bar and decorated plant wall in the dining room. Very good restaurant“
“I arrived for my pickup just before closing. The place smelled amazing Not from Thai food but from being cleaned before closing. I loved that. Once I opened my food it was hot, delicious, and nothing short of amazing. I had Chicken Satay with peanut sauce & Thai fried rice. Definitely. A 10 . A must “
“This is an amazing gem in Delmar! We have high expectations of Thai food and this exceeds all of them and more! My favorite dishes are the yellow curry with chicken and extra veggies, the pho is very good, and my hubby gets the salmon dish. We have eaten in but love doing takeout. I like to call in the orders and I'm so glad to see how much busier they have been lately.I like the spring rolls too, I can't say enough great things?❤️❤️❤️“
“Celadon has consistently flavorful Thai food. The delicious coconut milk curries with veggies and tofu are vegan and gluten free. You can make your curry spicy or mild- both incredibly good. The mango sticky rice is a simple sweet dessert. The fresh flowers on each table are a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Whenever we are craving the yummy aromas & flavors of fresh Thai food we come here.“
“I cannot believe I have not rated this place yet,I will start with The love felt when you walk in,The owner ,Chef is amazing she run everything and still has time to be a momThis is the also the best Tasting Thai food in NYS , challenge me on it lol.“
“Ordered takeout on a Monday night (kudos for being open on Mondays! its so hard to find Monday restaurants!) - the portion sizes were fair for the price. My son enjoyed the yaki udon and I had the maki combo 2. I also have several food allergies and there was no issue accommodating allergen requests. We look forward to ordering again!“
“I love this restaurant. The food is so damn good. I have celiac disease and eating out is usually a scary event that I do not get too excited about. This is a place to be excited about.Dietary restrictions: Had a great experience with their gluten free options“
“I love this place only been here twice but it would definitely return when I'm in the area. The two delicious dishes I had I would definitely get it again. The server at the counters that her name is Jeep she's very very nice. I highly recommend this place.“
