Sukhothai Reviews
Best Thai food we ever had! 😋 Great service as well ♡
great food... friendly staff
I have had a lot of Thai food in my life - including going to Thailand and experiencing the food there. I have to say that Sukhothai is one of my favorite places in Albany to get Thai food and I’ve tried a bunch of spots in the area.
I’m biased towards the green curry and they make it extremely well. The owners and staff are lovely and I will always be ordering my Thai food from here for as long as I live in the area

Sukhothai is a popular restaurant on Lark Street that has been a staple in the area for many years. Despite some minor setbacks during the COVID pandemic, the restaurant has returned to its usual high standards, with large portions and delicious dishes. The dine-in service may be a bit slow due to the staff's dual responsibilities, but the food arrives quickly and is presented well. Customers have noted that the staff are friendly and provide quick service. The menu offers a variety of options, including new additions like bubble tea. Many guests enjoy the soup appetizers and have found dishes like the eggplant red curry to be delicious. While some dishes may not meet every taste, such as the shrimp omelet and pad thai, Sukhothai's overall quality and variety of options make it a great choice for a nice meal. It is also a cozy spot, ideal for a date night or working out of on the weekend, making it a not-so-hidden gem of Lark Street.
