“We had our engagement party here. We were lucky to be able to reserve the River Bar. Jared did an amazing job helping us plan the event. He suggested a date where live music was playing which made our party even better. He worked with us to create a food menu and gave us awesome feedback on how much to order based upon our party size. The rest of the staff that served our party was wonderful. The drinks and food were delicious. The staff made sure the food was staying hot throughout the party and they even helped us box up all of our gifts at the end of the night. They did everything to make sure we had a memorable night. To top it all off, it's nice to have a place to go in Troy, New York that supports your local law enforcement and first responders. If you are thinking of having a private party this is a great option!“
“I ate here a few years ago and it was great. I have tried to go back three times, including last night, and have been met with chaos and poor service leading us to go somewhere else every single time. There is no organization in terms of someone finding you a table. If staff put your name down, it would save some stress and we would’ve just sat at the bar a bit waiting. Instead, regulars/people who came after swiftly took tables that opened up. For a place so small, half the tables were reserved. I get taking reservations, but maybe do it on an online platform so I would’ve seen there was no availability ? Or thought to myself to make a reservation. Lastly, I have to sadly agree with one of the reviews below about the female bartender. She honestly was no help on multiple occasions and just wanted to continue talking to her friends. Hopefully I can actually eat here again one day as the food is amazing.“
“Absolutely phenomenal experience at this bar! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks were not only delicious but surprisingly affordable, which is a rare find these days. The wings were hands down some of the best I've ever tasted (mainly garlic parm) - perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a variety of mouthwatering sauces to choose from. And let's talk about the pool tables! They were well-maintained and provided endless entertainment throughout the night. What truly set this place apart was the diverse crowd it attracted. It was refreshing to see people from all walks of life coming together to enjoy good company and great vibes. If you plan to come in peak-hours, plan for a wait.However, for me, the wait was well worth it!The chicken wings I ordered were perfect. Well-sourced, not too fatty, not dry, and cooked to perfection. The ranch was delicious (not the watery-grocery-store-kind). Plenty of carrots and celery to bite on in between the wings! The side of fries that I ordered was served is a cute cast iron mini-pot!Parking: If you're going there for the first time, take a note of the extra parking lot they offer, as there's very limited parking available right by the restaurant.“

“Spent lots of time in this bar with a dart league on Thursday nights over the last 5 years. The food is great when it's great and not so great when it's not. You can tell when the kitchen is overloaded or if the usual cook isn't there. The hand cut fries are the best. Some bartenders are better than others.“

“Only went there once. They're retiring after 9/20/22 after 50 years in business. Slick's has reopened. Like before, the sandwiches and deli are awesome, as are the deli salads. The atmosphere is friendly, quiet, and enjoyable. If you haven't been there yet, you're missing one of the area's true gems.“
“We were out on a road trip and decided to crash the local pub after dinner for cocktails and karaoke. Reget going to dinner beforehand. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Drinks were good and reasonable priced. The locals took us in and we had a great time. 5 stars for Songbird Karaoke.“

“I have been to Manhattan Exchange a handful of times. Don't skip this place. They definitely have a solid burger. I got the Wisconsin Butter burger, it was huge and delicious. They have decent cocktails, one of my friends got a spicy musk which was delicious. The servers were very attentive, service was a little slow because it's Saint Patrick's Day weekend, but they checked in frequently. It's clean inside and has a nice patio for warmer days.“

Usually I am content with less expensive lunch options (soup and salad) however, Ravenswood was a nice change and worth it.“
