“The food was very good, I'd strongly recommend a visit! I'm sad that it's no longer a topless or bikini bar but would still visit again if I'm in the area. If they went back to being topless I'd go out of my way to visit.“
“We stopped by at the end of the day on a Friday. First, the atmosphere inside was cheery and welcoming. It reminded me of a bar like the old series “Cheers” or the Ben Affleck movie “The Tender Bar” - people were gathered like old friends at the end of a long work week. Katy was the bartender and server - very welcoming, upbeat- we can’t say enough about the great service we got. Now the food - we had read great reviews from Facebook and finally had a chance to try it out. We were not disappointed! This is pub food better than best - it’s the real deal. First we started with an order of honey BBQ bone in wings (they have many sauce flavor options)- best we’ve had in the capital region - hot, crispy, large sized and absolutely delicious. Next we tried the plain Mac and cheese and it, too, was delicious- lovely melted cheese on top of cavatappi pasta with a lovely blend of creamy cheeses underneath. We didn’t need to add any salt because the flavors were perfectly delicious already. Next we had the pulled pork sandwich that came with Cole slaw and their homemade, hand cut fries. I opted for onion rings. Can’t even begin to describe how delicious everything was - the pulled pork had excellent smoky tenderness, the Cole slaw was delicious — (too many places just can’t make a good Cole slaw but this place has it down !)And then there are the fries and onion rings - wow - both were excellent! Super flavor and perfect light crispy texture- haven’t had good fries/onion rings like this in years! The menu had many other pub fare options from chicken to salads and burgers. It’s a small cozy place inside, people are very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Katy was great and she makes a top notch White Russian. Our hats go off to the chefs/cooks for the extra mile on serving amazing pub food that sets this place apart from so many other places in the Capital Region“

“Spent lots of time in this bar with a dart league on Thursday nights over the last 5 years. The food is great when it's great and not so great when it's not. You can tell when the kitchen is overloaded or if the usual cook isn't there. The hand cut fries are the best. Some bartenders are better than others.“

“This place is very much not closed. New ownership since COVID so I don't think "Maria's" is in the name anymore it's just Tailgate. New owner is a ]nice young guy and customer service is good. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. The wings are amazing and the home made blue cheese is incredible. I won't go anywhere else for wings in Guilderland. People I've come with have all been satisfied with their meals (burgers, nachos, salads etc.). Beer/drink selection and price are standard for a neighborhood bar. Even though there is a no frills vibe the interior was recently redone and it's nice and clean.... this isn't exactly a dive bar. Stop in for the great wings and you'll more than likely meet some fun characters while enjoying your quality meal.“

Celebrating my friend Jamie's 33 Birthday dinner.I had a exquisite Grilled Chicken in Jamaican jerk rub, jalapenos, mushroom, onions, tomatos on toasted brioche washed down with lemon water.My friends all had honey chipotle, garlic Parm and naked wings nachos or fries all of which that I sampled were delicious. They all washed theirs down with beer, twisted tea or shots of their choice.“
“I'm from Rochester came to Albany for a family function stopped here to shoot some pool with my grandfather great atmosphere great staff I didn't try the food so I can't speak on that but otherwise they had 6 large table 8 regular and 4 Foosball tables and they provide pool “
