“Love this place. The family who runs it does an amazing job and the food is literally ALWAYS great and I’ve been there like 10 times. It’s cute and quaint, but most importantly CLEAN. They also have creative and various options for both breakfast and lunch. My favorite breakfast spot by far!!!!“

“I had the omelette wrap with bacon and a cup of soup. They were delicious! The soup was broccoli with Monterey Jack. It was so good. ? I would've taken a picture but I was distracted, hungry, and ate 80% before I even Thought of taking a picture. The food was also presented well. Great job!“

“Dropped in to get some baked goods for dessert after dinner, picked up one of the pumpkin sugar cookies, a lemon drop cookie, a blueberry muffin, and a cinnamon bun.The sugar cookie was great, just sweet enough but not overwhelming which you might expect from the frosting. The lemon drop on the other hand was just pure sugar, where was the lemon? Need to add some zest to that. The cinnamon bun was pretty disappointing, with a really thick glaze on top not meant to be thick, tasted like sugar water, while the bread was just dry and rather bland.Ended up too full to get to the blueberry muffin, but I was able to foist it off on my old man who always likes a good berry muffin.“

“If I could have manifested a perfect bar/bookstore combo this would have been it. They have delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and a perfectly curated collection of books and gifts. Their cocktails are delicious. It’s a very fun place for a quick after work bite and drink. I’m so jealous it’s in Schenectady, if it was closed to my house I’d basically live there.“

“I have been going to J & T's Cafe for many years. The food and service is always consistently good. What really takes it over the top are the freshly homade soups, which there is 6 or more varieties. Everything is prepared fresh everyday, and the best home cooked food around. The clientele that frequent this establishment are also very pleasant, which also is an indication of their satisfaction with this establishment. For those few disgruntled customers, take your frustration out on your wives or significant other. John and the crew at J & T's are aces.“

“Yesterday was my first time here and WOW. I got the lemon pound cake and now...I WANT MORE! Cute little store where you can pick up to go meals, alcohol, basic groceries, and really cute little cook books and how to make recipes with all ingredients included! Will 1000 percent be back.“

“Great little find! Stayed at the Hotel Broadalbin and was a quick walk from there for breakfast. Service was great and staff was super friendly. We ordered to-go and enjoyed the wait time (which wasn't long at all considering how busy they were) people watching sipping on coffee. Outdoor seating looked great, right on a little creek. Food was tasty, breakfast bagel sandwich and the French toast and very reasonably priced.“

“We went for the first time today & it was delicious! They have healthy & fresh food & it’s very welcoming, homely, & accommodating! My daughter had the açaí bowl & my mother & I had the hamburger vegetable soup! We thoroughly enjoyed! Will be back again!“

“What a perfect little diner. Exactly what I want from an independent small place. I ordered eggs over easy and a side of corned beef hash. The waitress immediately asked if I wanted the eggs on top of the hash. Well, of course! But nobody ever asks that and it was awesome. Hot sauce, ketchup, and jelly we're already on the table so no need to ask. Coffee was fresh and delicious and refilled often. Everything was done quickly and perfectly. I had never been here before but I will definitely be back.“

“Had lunch here with my daughter, and the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! I ordered the Ballstonian sandwich with a pot of Irish breakfast tea. Our server was kind and attentive and everything was excellent. Can't wait to come back and try something else on the menu!“

“I had a lovely intimate lunch with the owner preparing me a delicious omelette and a tomato salad. Highly recommend giving Richard free rein to prepare you “something” around your preferences and dietary restrictions if it’s slow. Ask him about his life and talk to him about world events.“

“First timer visit on a family members recommendation. Four star food and service so that is impressive. Five stars for the gal who greeted and seated our seven member party. She was super nice beyond what you can reasonablly expect these days. The french toast was good. The italian toast, bacon and egss were also solid. The standout was the potatos served with the eggs. Cooked to perfection and tasty to boot. Everyone enjoyed the food. The coffee was just okay but it was hot. My only objection was that the place had a smell to it that indicated it might not be regularly cleaned. My wife noticed it as well. Still, in an era where a good breakfast place is increasingly hard to find we overlooked this and the greeter and the food made up for it. Check it out for yourself.“

“My husband and I went there this evening for Valentines dinner. We have been there for her amazing breakfasts and have ordered her take out pot pies and WOW, we were not disappointed with our amazing dinner. I had the Eggplant and my husband had the Filet. Warm and cozy atmosphere- just perfect!!“

“I always have a good time at this establishment. They're very friendly and the customer service is very fast. I order the Chicken Parm Panini and it was delicious. 9/10!!Parking: There is parking in the back of the restaurant so you will not have to worry about where to park.“
