I had a lovely intimate lunch with the owner preparing me a delicious omelette and a tomato salad. Highly recommend giving Richard free rein to prepare you “something” around your preferences and dietary restrictions if it’s slow. Ask him about his life and talk to him about world events.
My 2nd time stopping here at this cozy place in Schenectady off-hours for a quiet peaceful meal... the gentleman who took care of us was once again friendly and accommodating... he pretty much runs the show himself, so this is a place where patience is rewarded, to be sure. The omelette I had today is 10x tastier than any I can get in the city. I also don't know why we bring books of our own when his shelves are filled with fascinating stuff to flip through, not to mention games...read full review
