“The salad and homemade dressing were delicious, and the steak sandwich was perfect. The pizza thst other tables ordered smelled and looked amazing. I was not a fan of the Chicken Francaise it was more of a thin butter sauce than the white wine lemon sauce that was describe. I will stick with the to pizza, sandwiches and salad next time.“

“We have been twice now when we are in the area and had Joellen as our waitress each time. She has been amazing each time; making sure to check in and tell us any details! The food is always amazing in quality and quantity. We always bring leftovers home. Fried pickles are delicious (and spears! So there any many to share). Mac and cheese is delicious and homemade. Will definitely be coming back!“

“I went there for the first time. It was amazing. Don't have a single bad thing to say about it. But, the next day, I discovered the hard way that I ate too much and spent at least an hour on the toilet and threw up. But the food and service was great and I hope I build up the courage to “

“Second time ordering from them and just as great as the first order! The pizza is done exactly the way you ask. Thier baked goods look out of this world, but have not tried any yet. I would 10 out of 10 recommend! I'm just saying we drive from Niskayuna just for their Pizza.“

“I ate here a few years ago and it was great. I have tried to go back three times, including last night, and have been met with chaos and poor service leading us to go somewhere else every single time. There is no organization in terms of someone finding you a table. If staff put your name down, it would save some stress and we would’ve just sat at the bar a bit waiting. Instead, regulars/people who came after swiftly took tables that opened up. For a place so small, half the tables were reserved. I get taking reservations, but maybe do it on an online platform so I would’ve seen there was no availability ? Or thought to myself to make a reservation. Lastly, I have to sadly agree with one of the reviews below about the female bartender. She honestly was no help on multiple occasions and just wanted to continue talking to her friends. Hopefully I can actually eat here again one day as the food is amazing.“

“Really cool place to hit up on Sunday night during the open mic (6:30 - 9pm). Lots of talented local players with an even mix of covers and originals. Kenneth Kimball is an awesome host and musician. Excellent ice cream and great selection of Blue Sky and Dr. Browns sodas as well!“

“Very nice but small dining areas. Sat at a high top near the bar. It was crowded, so people were close. The lobster Mac and Cheese was very good. The wait staff were busy but managed to stop back several times to refresh drinks. Be aware you save 3% on your bill if you pay cash. Luckily for me, I had enough on me at the time.Parking: I went on a Saturday night. Parked in the bank parking lot. It was after hours and closed. I don't know how far I would have had to walk if I didn't park there.“

“Loved it! Tremendously chic and fantastic atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and make your dining experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The food is very good and nice selection of different appetizers; not just the ol' standbys. Plenty of parking which is great since this is in the Stockade area. Definitely going back.“

“Not only does Grano have amazing food, but their customer service is also fantastic! I went there recently before a show at Proctors, and unfortunately the kitchen was a little behind, and we did not have enough time to eat. When leaving Proctors, our server was waiting outside the theater to give us our food to take home. They really went above and beyond. I will definitely be going back soon!“

“Love this place. Don't be deceived by the location as it's tucked away off state street in Schenectady. It's attached to a store and there are no seats, it's mainly take out. The prices are completely reasonable, if not cheap. I ordered a whole tandoori chicken, vegetable curry, sweet naan, two samosas and dessert all for about $48. The chicken was tender and the naan tasted warm right out of the oven! The sauce on the curry was thick and not watery. Good size portions. I recommend highly as my only other Indian I lean toward is Karavalli in Latham and Karavalli in Saratoga.“
“Low key, great beer, brought my 2 kids here so momma could nurse and have a drink after the farmers market. Music was excellent and sonic character of the space was NOT insanely boomy. Will definitely be back for both sensory perks, excellent vibe and quality beer.“

“Restaurant week in schenectady at we hit ferrari's. OMG. Nate our server was amazing. So was the gentleman bagging leftovers. Food even better but they were both great. $30 got me calamari, linguini and desert. Hubby got the pasta fagioli (a quart) and beef braciole. Delicious. Not our first visit never our last. Have left overs for 3 more people. Please keep them in business.“
“My husband and I have been going to Wolf Hollow since the beginning, when they started in a Grange Hall. It's amazing the expansion they have made. Wolf Hollow has always had solidly good beers. I have probably tried every single one they've made. My favorite mainstay they have is Nun the Wiser. It's just a solid light lager. My favorite beer is their El Lobo Loco (which is a summer beer). My husband favorite seasonal is their Oktoberfest. This trip we had the Blackberry Pie and my husband got the Katie's Irish red. The blackberry pie is a mild sour. They do have a few non-beer items including some ciders and some local wines. They also have some non-alcoholic beers available to purchase. Wolf Hollow has a wonderful atmosphere. They are family and dog friendly (outside only for dogs). They have a nice cozy tap room. Outside they have a pavilion, picnic areas, and a great patio. There are also sandboxes for kids. During the winter you can sit next to a fire pit and even snowshoe on the property. For food they do rotating food trucks. Some of their regular food trucks include Two for the Road and Burger 21. All of the staff is very friendly, and very knowledgeable on beer.“

“I love this place! Believe me, everything you read about the chicken wings here is spot on. They are meaty, juicy, and delicious. Jen helped me out and she couldn't have been nicer. She even started singing behind the bar! That's the kind of neighborhood spot this is. It feels like it's been around for 100 years and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can't wait to return because there were so many items on the menu and so many beers on tap it's impossible to conquer it all on just one visit. This is the perfect dive bar.“
“It definitely has a large beer menu and I was really happy with my beer. Also it's nice and dark. Really good location because it's next to offices, downtown and train station. If you like Schenectady then this bar probably has the best beer.“

“We hosted a small party for around 30 last night in their beautiful upstairs space. The owner, Aaron worked with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and still stayed within our budget. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the space was warm and inviting. It is so rare to actually get more than expected but City Squire truly hit it out of the park!“

“The food was excellent. I went with three other people to celebrate my birthday, and everyone loved their food. The minor exception was the sauce on the pasta one person had with their chicken parm. Personally, I got the pot roast and it was wonderful. The cocktails were also excellent. Again, there was one exception (the bonfire dessert cocktail). The presentation was great but it was not good, although one person took it on and drank it after the person who ordered it couldn't due to taste. Dessert was also good. The service is the one thing holding me back from a five star rating. The waiter just did not check in often enough. The timing of the courses coming out was perfect for a comfortably paced social experience. But we did have to wait unnecessarily (in our opinion) for water/drink orders and general check in. All in all though, I really loved it and look forward to getting back there. Lovely atmosphere and excellent food.“

“First timer visit on a family members recommendation. Four star food and service so that is impressive. Five stars for the gal who greeted and seated our seven member party. She was super nice beyond what you can reasonablly expect these days. The french toast was good. The italian toast, bacon and egss were also solid. The standout was the potatos served with the eggs. Cooked to perfection and tasty to boot. Everyone enjoyed the food. The coffee was just okay but it was hot. My only objection was that the place had a smell to it that indicated it might not be regularly cleaned. My wife noticed it as well. Still, in an era where a good breakfast place is increasingly hard to find we overlooked this and the greeter and the food made up for it. Check it out for yourself.“

“Best Ramen I had! Nothing like your typical Ramen soup you buy at grocery store. I got the seafood Ramen and broth was so good! The shrimp were huge and it had Japanese scallops, which are very different than regular scallops, they looked like clams. Overall a very yummy soup! Next time I am trying the pool ramen!“

“We went to dinner at Scotti's recently and it was incredible. I had the Veal Gaetano and my wife had the Chicken with white wine. Both were superb ....the veal tender and perfectly cooked and the chicken moist and delicious. The sides broccoli and linguini were an excellent complement to our dinner. To top it off we had the tiramisu and it was easily the best tiramisu of any restaurant we've visited. Kudos to the owner and staff for a great evening!“

“If you want home-made food without having the task of doing it yourself at home or paying a high price in a restaurant, look no further. This is REAL food that leaves you full in a good way. No additives, all natural spices. The way our meals should always be cooked! My personal recommendation is the half chicken dinner with rice & beans as sides :D“
“Whoah what a hidden gem. My bf wanted to try this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered the duck curry and Chicken Tikka..delish! We watched him make the naan as we were waiting for our order. There is no sit down dining so call ahead for takeout as we waited quite a while. We were behind a gentlemen who said he travels 20 miles regularly for this place so that speaks volumes.“

“I have been to Manhattan Exchange a handful of times. Don't skip this place. They definitely have a solid burger. I got the Wisconsin Butter burger, it was huge and delicious. They have decent cocktails, one of my friends got a spicy musk which was delicious. The servers were very attentive, service was a little slow because it's Saint Patrick's Day weekend, but they checked in frequently. It's clean inside and has a nice patio for warmer days.“

“Excellent in every way! Great pizza and subs. Best turkey subs anywhere. The hot eggplant sub is epic. Excellent rolls and breadsticks. Quality at reasonable prices. Best of all, the hard-working staff is amazing. Accurate orders, fast, friendly, professional service. We get takeout, but there are a few tables to eat in. The interior is clean and cheery, with a great pressed tin ceiling. We have been coming here for years, and are looking forward to many years to come.“

“We went after Dinosaurs Live. My picky grandson had 2 slices of the delicious bread and butter then Spaghetti and Meatballs, he couldn't eat it fast enough. Enjoyed the pasta, the meatballs and tried the Mac and cheese....yum. My son and I had the chicken Parm, the best I have ever had. Hot and juicy, even the edges. We had left over and ordered dessert to bring home. Service was great and very friendly staff, atmosphere great and every thing was clean. If they ever decide to sell the sauce, please let me know. Most definitely true homemade Italian sauce. THANK YOU! One Happy Mom of the Birthday son and so pleased my grandson enjoyed every bite. Going to tell my friends, co- workers and please go try them out, you will be so glad you did and I saw that they cater.....MORE PERRECA'S a definite win!Parking: Plenty of parking in the back and there is off street parking but not neededKid-friendliness: I really searched the area for a restaurant that had a children's menu and children friendly. They covered it all.“

“Here is one of the many places in Schenectady for pizza and Italian food. Isopo's is more like a bar that has pizza. Of course there's a lot more you can get than just that. Calzones are something to order so it won't look like eating a whole pizza, tee hee. There's also a few vegan choices, so cool stuff. Came at lunch and we got some beers and pizzas for here. It has a good selection of big brands and local beers, all of which go good with pizza. There's also some hard stuff including a good variety of whiskeys. It's about $10 for a personal sized pizza. Really not bad to be honest, about typical. It has the Cheese Vegan Round Pizza for those looking for plant based. This is simply a cheese pizza, but sometimes that's enough for a pizza. Get more than just beers and pizzas from here. It's known for the garlic knots. There's choice for meat eaters as well as vegans and vegetarians.“

“Kid-friendliness: My 7yo daughter is picky about her pizza and can never finish a slice. She loved one here and ate it all. Customers were friendly and helped get utensils for her. Staff had everything prepared except cheese slice that just came out of the oven when we arrived. They are on top of their game. Good place.“

“This bar is a must from the bartender all the way down to the cheers feel. We stopped in to grab a drink and stay for much longer then expected. The customers and bartenders were almost like family as soon as you walked in it felt like home. Smaller bar in the stockade around the corner from the bowling alley.Drinks were amazing. “This is an extremely busy restaurant, loud, difficult to converse without almost yelling. But, people are happy, laughing, seeking to genuinely enjoy the atmosphere and food. Waitstaff were timely, incredibly efficient, friendly & smiling..Love that in such a thankless industry! Reuben was delicious though I wish for the tang of kraut instead of just braised cabbage! But, nonetheless delicious, Tots were crisp and HOT ~ . Worth that wait, noise, delicious food and great staff!“
“Had a fun time checking out a killer Doors tribute band here. (Yes, the acoustics are loud here.) Beer was solid: Enjoyed a tasty Watermelon Sour brew. Food from next door wasn't too shabby either.Layout of seating near the bar isn't the best, but tables closer to the stage are great if you get there on the earlier side and are able to snag one in time.Overall this is a nice little hidden gem of Schenectady. I'd probably return sometime in the future to check out another band. And would arrive on the earlier side.Worth the visit.“
