“This place is very much not closed. New ownership since COVID so I don't think "Maria's" is in the name anymore it's just Tailgate. New owner is a ]nice young guy and customer service is good. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. The wings are amazing and the home made blue cheese is incredible. I won't go anywhere else for wings in Guilderland. People I've come with have all been satisfied with their meals (burgers, nachos, salads etc.). Beer/drink selection and price are standard for a neighborhood bar. Even though there is a no frills vibe the interior was recently redone and it's nice and clean.... this isn't exactly a dive bar. Stop in for the great wings and you'll more than likely meet some fun characters while enjoying your quality meal.“

“I'd prefer to say this place is terrible so we can continue to get the take-out slots we need, but I can't. Marisa's is the best pizza we've had in years, including the last 10 years we were in Brooklyn. Granted, 2 of those years were pandemic years, and we just didn't go out, and we never went back to Totonno's after it burned down, and we gave up on di Fara's when it became such a hipster lawn-chair tourist production, but our neighborhood spots were good. Two of them were, anyway (we also stopped going to Beverly after the crust fiasco). Anyway, Marisa's is heaven, full stop. I dream of the day we feel secure going out to a sit-down-inside place and trying everything else on the menu. Their crust is magnificent, their sauce is spectacular, and the topping ingredients are truly lovely. But you do have to call early to get the take-out slot you want; no crying and whinging that you had to wait two hours for your pizza. It's also not cheap, so no complaining about that. Read the instructions on the website, then respect the owners enough to do as they say. Do it. Do it now. Call them. They're only open 4 days a week, and we're lucky to get them that much. I already regret writing this review bc a) I now really want pizza, and b) if you're smart, you've already called and taken our preferred time for pickup.“

“I have no issues with Paesans. I used to not care for it when I moved here from downstate. I've slowly come around to it overtime. No other pizza option really. Staff is very nice and attentive. Our fav is buffalo chicken pizza or bbq chicken pizza. Not tried anything else really. The service is fast as long as they're not swamped with orders. Inside of the place is nice and clean. Recommended. :)“

“A southern brunch that was so good. 4 of us went to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. I had the Dad and it was absolutely delicious. We loved the fried green tomatoes, and the tater tots. I had a bourbon bacon bloody Mary that was out of this world. I can't wait to go back!Parking: Street parking was available and they have a lot behind the building.“

“I've been here twice. The first time was on a Thursday evening about an hour before closing, very quiet. The second was at 5:45pm on a Saturday, where we got the last available table, all counter and free table space was devoted to holding bags of take-out, and the waiting area was standing room only about 20 minutes later. The good news is that there was no difference in the quality of the food or service provided between these two distinctly different visits. My first experience was the intense aroma of the tea they serve, I almost couldn't wait for it to finish steeping. Strong flavor continued beyond with appetizers and sauces. The rolls were well prepared, accompanied by generous amounts of wasabi and ginger. Small amounts of wasabi enhanced the flavors of the fish rolls, no accompaniment was needed beyond that. For what initially appears to be a small menu, the number of rolls available is amazing. Service was on point, we received just the right amount of service and attention, and tea refills came out quickly. Even at the busiest times, there was no chaos, no backlog, no perceived problems.“

“Tried a new dinner entre tonight, the veal parmisan. The veal was very tender and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was well cooked and the pompdoro sauce had just the right amount of seasoning. As always the olive tamponade and the bread was delicious. Service was outstanding!! I finished my meal with the triple mousse cake, sinfully delicious!“

“My wife and I do so miss dining out at Cafe Italia since we moved South 7 years ago. Miss seeing and talking with Maria, Mike, Jimmy & of course Paulie. Miss the wonderful smells and the atmosphere that's unbeatable in the Capital district. Best of all, the quality of Italian foods served at this restaurant. Tried a majority of the other Italian restaurants in the tri-city area but none compare to C.I. Definitely will get back here in the near future. Need a fix!!!“

“I always come here for the duck and the panna cotta... The duck here is the best in the area and consist since they opened. The potato and leek soup was also very good. My hubby got the salad, pasta special and the amaretto cherry Gelato and said it was delicious as well. I recommend all the foods here but note the bolognese here has cardimon which throws me off and the only place I don't prefer bolognese... But the duck is my fav anyways. They are also attentive to my food allergy here.“

“Restaurant week in schenectady at we hit ferrari's. OMG. Nate our server was amazing. So was the gentleman bagging leftovers. Food even better but they were both great. $30 got me calamari, linguini and desert. Hubby got the pasta fagioli (a quart) and beef braciole. Delicious. Not our first visit never our last. Have left overs for 3 more people. Please keep them in business.“
