My husband and I went with a group of 3 other couples, so 8 total.They had a long table with plenty of space, the food was fantastic, I had chicken kabob over rice....very good very flavorful and a lot of food, I took 1/2 home. The owners are very nice and staff, very accommodating.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food, the service and the atmosphere are just spot on. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is that sometimes one dish is served very late while the rest are served within a few minutes. This happened to us multiple times where we were able to have all of our food served except for one. By the time it was served, everyone was already done eating. Had to ask them to pack it in a to go box.

On the very first night of Ramadan. I went into Mazadar just as the fast was breaking. The manager was flooded with orders. The place could be classified as casual with its numerous tables and families inside. I ordered the Chicken Kofta and it was simply divine. You couldn't tell me I wasn't dining in the finest Afghani establishment outside of the actual country. If I am ever in Colonie again, I will return.
