This place is great. The roast pork sandwich reminds me of DiNics in Philly.
Roast beef sandwich, any of their soups or salads and their pickles are all very good. I haven't tried anything else, but I plan on it.
The food is great and the staff is even better. You can tell everyone works hard, cares and the quality reflects that. It’s a must try if you haven’t before

JC's Central Deli serves amazing sandwiches, including the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and a really nice turkey reuben. The menu also features delicious soups and a spicy buffalo chicken sandwich that has been noted as the best in Albany. The friendly and hospitable staff provides great recommendations and offers fast, custom service without the low quality of fast food. While the seating area could be improved, the food is consistently flavorful and fresh, with fabulous, PERFECT french fries, crisp pickles, and great specials. It’s a top spot for a quick, healthy meal and lunch in the area. The owner is known to be chill and welcoming, adding to the overall experience.
