“I’ve been going to pizza king since I can remember. I started going with my daughter who is now 32 was a baby & they were on State street. I followed him to Jay & it’s been years since I been there & stopped in today. The service is always great even though they don’t speak as fluent English as myself they still understand and are very efficient. The pizza was pretty much the same as it has always been which is GREAT ( I like my pizza a lil greasy so it was perfect) & the only thing I really didn’t like is the supply area where the napkins and lids and straws are kept. It was a bit dirty. I actually cleaned it up and wiped down the soda machine. ( I managed subway long ago & it’s a habit with ocd lol) and the tables weren’t wiped down when the customers that were in there left. They had a few customers but that’s stuff you have to keep up on. This isn’t to put them down at all but things have changed since John has passed def (my prayers to his family & friends & fellow patrons he was awesome). So get back to keeping supplies filled like straws of all sizes & napkins & wipe it down & no arguments from me and keep the bathrooms clean & with toilet paper too loll I’m sure it’s really rough in this location with all the transients however. Over all a 4 out of 5 stars and pizza is still great!!!“

“Wow! What a busy night! These should be nothing but compliments for the staff, in the front of the house, and behind the scenes. It seems the autumn light show down the road has had quite an impact. We went on a whim, disregarded the suggested reservations, but were able take seats right away at the end of the bar. Best of both worlds....A little bit of patio atmosphere and dining room comfort as the temperatures began to drop. And a glimpse at the extra hard work involved this evening. Praises to Jennifer as she greeted us, offered us something to drink, and advised us if we were ordering there would be an extended wait, (a large number of parties, and parties with a large number of people, seem to have arrived all at once). She said she would rather be up front with people than to have them disappointed with a wait. The expected delay was explained to every party that entered following us It was amazing to watch the coordinated efforts of the three waitresses working as a team. There was no time for idle chit chat while disregarding the needs of customers, but there was still time for smiles and laughter. Work behind the counter was fast, deliberate, efficient and the customers had no sense of stress or overwhelm. Each interaction I overheard was friendly and attentive. Another thing that I was impressed with, especially sitting at a bar, is that with an extended wait, those who were drinking, alcoholic beverages , were not pushed or encouraged to purchase more than usual to fill the time. Therefore the environment around us remained the same. Our meals came in the time projected, (mine a crock of french onion soup and my husband, a Roadhouse burger with onion rings.) Each item as tasty as we have come to expect. I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for an enjoyable evening.“

“Visited for the first time this evening and we will be back !! We ordered a large chicken parm pizza and 10 medium wings. The pizza crust was 🤌🧑‍🍳😘! Thin and crispy and absolutely perfect. The sauce is on the sweet side and although I personally prefer a savory sauce (where the garlic and oregano punches you in the face) it was still very good. The wings were delicious as well. Super meaty and crisp. Also I appreciate that the chicken was not drowning in sloppy sauce, rather just enough to provide a perfect balanced flavor. Excellent job! “I repeatedly ask myself why this place isn't rated higher. You get fantastic pizza with so many different and creative toppings, pies or slices. Favorites are the buffalo chicken, broccoli and chicken, CBR, vodka sauce and more....

Also the best buffalo wings you can find in Schenectady. Everyone who works there is always friendly. They work extremely hard and efficiently to get you hot pizza on time. Go-to spot for 10 years now! During the warmer weather it's a nice low-key place to sit down and eat with family.

“I have been to Scotti's a few times now. The food and service is absolutely amazing. I felt like family from walking into the door and the entire time while eating. The owner even stopped by the table a few times to check on how everything was going.

The food is exactly what you hope it would be with so many Italian restaurants in the area it is still hard to find one that delivers, and now the search is over. Huge portions, tasty, great drink menu, and the wait staff was very knowledgable.

Left overs tasted great even in the microwave a few days later. Great spot for an amazing dinner or even a nice cocktail if you're in the area.“

“I could not love the gluten-free cheese pizza more than I did. I am so picky when it comes to gluten-free crust, but this one was everything good. No complaints. Cheese was fantastic. This is the first time that I have gone to the restaurant since they had new owners, and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly and the pizza certainly did not disappoint. I'm looking forward to trying other things on their menu.“

Parking: There are parking spaces but some are limits not a big parking lot but it's fast service so you're not waiting and there's not always a lot of weight for a spot

Kid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly very welcoming and very authentic they're very friendly with the kids which is awesome“

“I've been ordering from this pizzeria for quite some time, and they've consistently had great pizza and friendly service. This past Sunday, there was a misunderstanding with my order, and my cheese pizza was accidentally left off. Since my kid only eats cheese pizza, the owner immediately stepped in to make things right, even though they were closing.

He made we had a few slices of cheese pizza and even offered me a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza at no charge, despite my offering to pay. That kind of customer service is rare these days and speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers.

The pizza was delicious as always, and their willingness to go above and beyond turned a simple mistake into a great customer experience. I'll definitely continue ordering from them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great pizza and outstanding service.“

“I grew up on this pizza and although my first slice when I came home wasn’t what I expected… I came back today and it was just as good as I remember it.

I have not lived here in many years but the first thing I do when I visit, before ANYTHING else, is to get a slice. My first slice was bland… as in the sauce had no flavor. 😳

I then had a slice the next day and it was excellent.

I grew up in Niskayuna and have vivid memories of the oregano-powered sauce.

The sauce I had on my first slice had maybe a hint of oregano but not that oregano-forward taste profile I do vividly remember from the 70’s, 80s and 90s and beyond. I have been back to NY 20 times since moving away and this is the first time I was left disappointed.

But the slice on day 2 was BACK to what I remembered.

The Sicilian crust was the same and still great!
