We recently celebrated my sister's bridal shower at The Ritz on Union Street in Schenectady, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Tried restaurant week dinner. Appetizers and desserts were delicious. The spaghetti squash entree was surprisingly pleasant and flavorful. Penne vodka chicken was extremely mediocre... Baked haddock was slightly overcooked, but side dish was good. Overall 4 star experience.

At a time when restaurants are scaling back on ingredients, portions and quality while charging more for meals, The Ritz On Union does just the opposite. I enjoyed a tasty ragu dish over papperdelle pasta. The portion was sizable and the pricing was fair.
