“Pizza was great had a unique taste, like not your usual taste and that’s what makes it so delicious,great,awesome and delicious the service was 10/10 food came out very fast and prices were very reasonable and good. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone had great energy the lady’s taking my order were so nice and even gave me some extra slices of pizza. I am definitely coming back here. 10/10 experience I highly recommend.“

“Spinach Alfredo is best? Impossible to decide, bc it's all good! Thought it was The Works bc 🧅 on top. “I lived in Albany when Pizza Central opened. It was always my go to for a big tasty by the slice. I’ve since moved but when I’m in town, I’m sure to stop in. It’s not changed. The crust is the perfect blend of thin with a chewy outer crust. Their cheese is actually cheese. I feel like some shops get cheap on the cheese, but not here. They have great classic lunch specials, slices with a drink.“

“I found this place in a Google search for gluten free dining. My husband has Celiac's and has to be careful when dining out. We were so grateful for all the GF choices and the dedicated GF fryer. We had the cheese sticks and they were amazing!! Our server, Steven, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious!! We will definitely be back. We happened to be in the area but it's definitely worth the hour drive for us to get there. If you're GF or not you definitely need to eat there!!“

“Wow, what an awesome find! I have never been to Troy before but was here visiting my friend who recently moved. We decided to order from a local shop that delivered a menu to his address.

We ordered a large 3 topping pizza, wings, and two Appetizers. Pricing was considerably more affordable to what I’m used to in CT/MA.

The food was ready in 15-20 minutes! When we arrived to pick up the food just seeing their shop was awesome! Very bright, colorful, and artistic. Upon entering the pizzeria I was impressed to see they have so many premium pizzas sold by the slice as well.

The owner/workers at the pizzeria seemed happy to be there and were pleasant to deal with while waiting 1-2 minutes for our food.

As for the food details the pizza was very good. Nice big tasty bone in wings as well. Their pickle fries and jalapeño poppers are incredibly delicious!! Overall I am both impressed and beyond satisfied at the quality, and affordability of our food and service from big Apple.

I’ll include a few photo’s of all the food we got. I’m definitely coming back here to visit my buddy soon and go back to the pizzeria!! Overall 10/10 experience.

The place being a few minutes walk from the bus terminal makes it very worth it for someone passing through. Great customer service from the owner too.

There are a few seats inside to eat. Very hot inside but most people probably take to go.

“This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“I went there for the first time today. I ordered the two medium cheese pizzas for $13.99...great price for what you get. The pizza was very good, like a 4.7 on a scale of 5. I rounded up to 5 on my star review. The dough was crispy on the bottom and a little thicker than I like, but was perfect for the amount of sauce and cheese they put on it. It held up very well. The sauce has a really nice flavor...a little sweet, something I also like. They did not hold back on the cheese...The inside was clean and the young man behind the counter was very nice. “The food and service in this quaint Italian restaurant is exceptional! At our table, we had pasta carbonara, pasta bolognese and pasta vodka. We also had the polpette. Everything was amazing! The pasta was fresh and al dente and the flavor of the sauces were exquisite while the polpette melted in our mouths. We are from California, in Albany dropping our daughter at UA Albany for her first year. We are planning many trips there in the future as she progresses and when we are in town, Villa di Como Ristorante will be our #1 choice for dining.

The sauce is on the sweet side and although I personally prefer a savory sauce (where the garlic and oregano punches you in the face) it was still very good. The wings were delicious as well. Super meaty and crisp. Also I appreciate that the chicken was not drowning in sloppy sauce, rather just enough to provide a perfect balanced flavor. Excellent job! The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience.
