Very large and filling slice. It melts just right and is served hot. It's a bit more than 3$ a slice.
The place being a few minutes walk from the bus terminal makes it very worth it for someone passing through. Great customer service from the owner too.
There are a few seats inside to eat. Very hot inside but most people probably take to go.

Only in Albany for a short time and I wanted a really good authentic New York slice and this was it!!! Great restaurant close to the Empire State Plaza. Worth visiting!

Based on the reviews, A Slice of That offers excellent thin-crust NY-style slices, Sicilian square-cut pizza, and a CBR pizza. The pizza is high quality, with huge and really filling slices. The dough is thick and the cheese is melty with an amazing cheese pull. A whole personal pan pizza for $8 is so much it provides two meals. The slices are bigger than the average slice and have an authentic "real" pizza taste and presentation. Everything is fermented and cooked properly, with no corners cut on ingredients. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and inexpensive. The service is prompt, friendly, and never rushed. The owners and workers are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. The owner is a nice guy who will chat for as long or as little as wanted. The hospitality is warm and sincere, with the server anticipating needs. The space is comfortable and inviting for any occasion. It is the best slice in Albany, bar none.
