“This place is by far the best Italian restaurant in Albany! The food is amazing we did the eight course meal and everything was amazing. The meatballs were awesome. The octopus is the best I've ever had anywhere even the salad with this fresh vinaigrette lemon and pepper. The entree the pasta is perfect the sauce is clearly homemade. I would recommend this place without hesitation you would not be disappointed.“

After I pay I usually look at the wide pizza selection and enjoy it vicariously . The other things look good. As a good italian, who has done many reviews. As many as I come across. Sbarro's new ork style is quite good and if I was hungry for pizza, I would not pass it up .“

“This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“I went there for the first time today. I ordered the two medium cheese pizzas for $13.99...great price for what you get. The pizza was very good, like a 4.7 on a scale of 5. I rounded up to 5 on my star review. The dough was crispy on the bottom and a little thicker than I like, but was perfect for the amount of sauce and cheese they put on it. It held up very well. The sauce has a really nice flavor...a little sweet, something I also like. They did not hold back on the cheese...The inside was clean and the young man behind the counter was very nice. “I found this place in a Google search for gluten free dining. My husband has Celiac's and has to be careful when dining out. We were so grateful for all the GF choices and the dedicated GF fryer. We had the cheese sticks and they were amazing!! Our server, Steven, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious!! We will definitely be back. We happened to be in the area but it's definitely worth the hour drive for us to get there. If you're GF or not you definitely need to eat there!!“

“I lived in Albany when Pizza Central opened. It was always my go to for a big tasty by the slice. I’ve since moved but when I’m in town, I’m sure to stop in. It’s not changed. The crust is the perfect blend of thin with a chewy outer crust. Their cheese is actually cheese. I feel like some shops get cheap on the cheese, but not here. They have great classic lunch specials, slices with a drink.“
