Drove here says open but it’s closed. Waste of time. Appears to be closed more than open.

We had a delicious lunch for our first visit to The Irons Edge. I highly recommend it! We had the wings, smash burger, Philly quesedilla, and fried chicken sandwich, which was a huge piece of chicken and delicious without the hot sauce or coleslaw- I tried just a taste and it was amazing! The wall of windows overlooking the golf course was picturesque and the service was great, too. I want to go back in warmer weather and sit on the patio overlooking the golf course. The interior is new and fresh, but a little sterile-feeling, it could use some warming up. That being said, the view of the beautiful outdoor setting makes up for it.

Had the eggplant paining and it was excellent. The eggplant was done just right. Boyfriend really like his meal as well he had a turkey rueben.

Seating was surly and we couldn't get waited on in a dead restaurant. Too bad, a local shopkeeper highly recommended it to us.

Went here for the $25 3 course meal Saratoga event. I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I got the prosciutto chicken and it was great. Like very good. It was a pasta based dish with amazingly nice grilled chicken with a great sear, chopped up prosciutto, with broccoli, mushrooms and an amazing cream sauce. That tasted of parmesan & garlic. Served with a very good slice of garlic bread. The cream sauce as I said was very flavorful. The chicken was grilled, tasty and not dried. All the vegetables were salted perfectly. I was hesitant to get this because I just had pasta the other day but wow am I happy I did. Also the portions were big. I had to take mine home and that is very rare for me. Overall, I am definitely coming back. And I am excited to try the many items on the menu. A quick comment on the menu is that it had a lot of interesting items that you don't see at other restaurants in this area. Making it stand out and be a unique experience. Overall definitely made a great first impression and thinking about checking out their brunch service on Sunday. I would recommend.

had our second visit at the Irons Edge last night. Bought company visiting from out of town. Beautiful evening on the patio. On both visits, the food has been very good.

Really good brunch! We went on a Sunday morning around 10 am. Very nice table overlooking the golf course. Service was excellent, bloody Mary was yummy! We'll be back for dinner.

new chef..... no more risotto... not use bay scallops in a 38.oo meal not run out of strip steak on a Friday night at 5:30..definitely get a new cooking staff!!.

I had scallops risotto
..the scallops were 5 dime size scallops in supposedly s lemon risotto .....there was hardly any risotto in it!!.....no lemon taste...they might as well put me in a highchair and feed me baby food.....there were 4 of us..3 ordered strip steak on a Friday night. Cane back andxtoldcus there's no strip steak at 6pm!! I would definitely get a new chef!! I will do everything in my vocabulary to tell everyone in ballston spa not to waste your time and money here!!! Food network would say worst chef in ballston spa!!

Beautiful location and setup. However service was very slow even though there were only five tables with people (and plenty of servers). Club sandwich was very dry and did not have bacon so actually wasn’t a club. Pulled pork sandwich was also dry. Sweet potato fries were undercooked. Hopefully these are growing pains and will work themselves out.
