This is my husband’s and I third visit here and again we are overwhelmed. Greeted by Molly at the door and Jeremy and Paul at our table set the mood for an excellent meal. We would put the chipotle butternut squash soup and the Pork Schnitzel up against any NYC restaurant. We will be back and we encourage all to visit. You will be happy you did!!!

Had a nice dinner here. The menu is very interesting and the food was very good. The atmosphere is perfect for a couples date night, family dinner or even a casual drink at the bar. Staff was polite and friendly and the drinks were on point. Would definitely recommend and revisit. Their hours of operation are slightly unusual as they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. This restaurant is dinner service only but it's so good that I believe they'd do great if they served breakfast and or lunch as well. A must try if in the area. Pictured: Shrimp and Grits

From the moment we parked our car and approached the front door, we knew this place was going to be a winner. Our waitress immediately informed us that she was new during her introduction, within minutes you would have forgotten that. Every comment, suggestion, and table visit resembled a 30 year food service veteran. The food , the atmosphere, the drinks… everything was exactly what you would expect for the price you pay. There is no place comparable in Ballston Spa and we will be coming back.

Next Door Kitchen highly recommended. It did not disappoint!! Even though we stopped in for drinks and shareables, we had a wonderful experience and the staff provided a friendily and relaxing environment. The bar is well stocked with higher end products. We enjoyed the Asti and bourbon along with a few appetizers. The special was asparagus with smoked trout with a delicious capers sauce. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and crab fritters. Overall, the menu has many delicious entrees and appetizers. We plan to return next months for dinner with friends.

My lady and I had the pleasure of visiting Next Door Kitchen and I have to say, this is now the place in the Capital Region by which I will judge all other restaurants.
We dined on a temperate Saturday in Early June, so we opted to sit outside, as there was readily available seating. Inside was full of well dressed patrons who were clearly enjoying their experience.
We were seated right away and our waitress wasted no time in greeting us. Her name is Molly and she is truly amazing! A very friendly and hospitable personality mixed with a great deal of knowledge and professionalism. My lady grew up in the restaurant business and she noticed that all of the waitstaff were exceptionally well trained on server etiquette.
We ordered a couple of the more inventive cocktails and picked a bottle of wine to go with our dinner. It was actually Molly's recommendation and paired incredibly well with the NY Strip au poivre which we both ordered. Before our entree we enjoyed the Kimchee Eggrolls, which were also incredible. And the wine was so delicious we ordered another bottle to go!
Matt Hall, one of the young entrepreneurs behind this great place, came out to greet us before the night was through and told us about the huge selection of bourbons that we can try during our future visits. And there will be many. Next Door Kitchen is one of the greats - and even if you don't live close by, I would still urge you to make the trip and experience this establishment. You will be happy that you did!
