This place is not an Italian "deli" in my opinion. They are a boars head vendor. They close earlier than the posted hours. They are subsidized by the town government by a low rent payment. Anyone could succeed if we didn't have to pay a market rent

The BEST deli/sub shop in the area! Whether it’s cold cuts, homemade salads, subs, homemade hot dishes, Pellegrinos of Malta does the best and truly cares about the product they’re serving their customers. These hard working people just do it all right and in the best way! Look forward to going there every week.

For about eight years now I give this place a chance . My business and coworkers will order their weekly, but the overall attitude of the owners, the managers the people that answer the phone they kind of drag you over the coals. They’re kind a like the soup Nazi. It’s too bad it takes a decent place and makes it not even want to call them because of their attitude on the phone. It’s a shame our communities too good to have that type of business I won’t spend any more money there. I just called and ask for soup of the day got disconnected, called again. He acted as if I just didn’t speak with him two seconds ago didn’t have the answer their overworked they need to retire, move on with your attitude.

Best Italian food in the area. Everything is homemade and tastes like it. Authentic Italian food like your grandmother makes (better, in many cases!)
Subs, pasta dinners, trays, etc. And the people are just as authentic as the food they create.

Ordered some catering for a party. The food was amazing! Sausage and peppers were made to perfection and the lemon chicken was a huge hit. Roasted potatoes as well were fantastic. I will definitely make them my go to for catering events. Further, I appreciated the care taken when i placed my order. Appreciate a business that strives to make customers feel like they will be taken care of. Thank you!

Very very small grocery selection, so I sadly didn’t find the items I was looking for, but the deli counter is the main draw and was quite busy so clearly this place is loved by many.

Just go somewhere else.Might be ok to stop in and get a sub if you called/ordered ahead, but god help you if you just want cold cuts. Visited and asked for 1/4lb or prosciutto and 1/4 lb of provolone, waited for about 30 minutes in their dirty, disorganized waiting area, before I just left. The atmosphere is somewhere between a DMV and a college sub shop, but either of those would probably have more pleasant service staff.See ya never!

This hoagie shop reminds me of the one I grew up on. I got the 6" italian hoagie. It was tasty, but doesn't compare to some of the deli spots around Philadelphia. It was pretty affordable, though. I also got a strawberry rhubarb pie that was pretty tasty.
