I'm not sure what the building was maybe an old warehouse but very historical the food was absolutely fantastic the service was great talking was closed right across the street free parking the atmosphere was wonderful just everything around it was perfect I wish I could give it more than five stars we traveled the country in a motorhome can we have been to many BBQ places in this by far is one of the best

Had wait 35+ minutes for an entree because they had a party upstairs… food arrived and was bland and flavorless. It’s a Saturday night, plan ahead with staffing so you can still feed the lowly people downstairs. I can’t even express how disappointing this visit was.

If you're looking for somewhere to hang out, this is a great spot. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Very friendly with natural conversation with the wait staff made us feel like guests at a house party and not just customers at a restaurant. The breadsticks with nacho cheese were perfect. Super soft and butter coated. The deviled eggs are also top notch, you can tell the person making them has spent a lot of time perfecting the recipe and method. Unfortunately the rest of our food didn't match that level. The meat was dry, and so was the cornbread. The cornbread also didn't taste like corn at all, more like a white bread roll. TLDR: Apps are great, entrees are mid.

This was the worst bbq I have ever had and we have had allot of bbq. The place, atmosphere, building, staff and service was excellent. Then came the food omg. The ribs looked like they were cooked for 3 days. Most of the meat too hard to eat (like 10 x harder than the hardest jerky you ever had). The rest of it was so dry and flavourless, you needed to douse it with sauce just to eat it. The pulled pork was dry with no flavour. The brisket was ok I guess. The mac and cheese was 1) noodles were hard 2) tasteless. Like a little better than Kraft Dinner. Seriously! The little garlic cheese biscuits they brought before dinner were excellent. We seriously could not believe someone would plate those ribs let alone the rest of it. We did not complain. We just paid and left a nice tip and moved on. Don't waste your hard earned money here.

Center Street Grill supplied the chicken barbeques that were served at Batavia Downs for the Kentucky Derby. Chicken was dry, overcooked, potatoes were cold and hard with no additional butter to try to make the whole package more palatable. VERY poor representation of what one can expect here.

Center Street Smokehouse in Batavia, NY, holds a special place in my heart, and not just because my family owns it. Even putting that aside, I can honestly say it's consistently excellent. The food is always top-notch, with a focus on fresh ingredients and that unmistakable smoky flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners. Now that I'm freshly 21, I can also appreciate their drink selection. They serve quality drinks, and Sam, the bartender, is fantastic. He knows his stuff and always makes sure everyone has a great time. Honestly, I've never heard a bad word about the place from anyone. Everyone I know who's eaten or drank there has raved about it. It's got that welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, and the food and drinks speak for themselves. If you're looking for good food, good drinks, and a good time in Batavia, Center Street Smokehouse is the place to be.

Everything we ate here was delicious. The brisket and ribs were tender. The cornbread, Cajun dry rubbed wings, deviled eggs, pierogi and tater tots were all well made and had great flavor. The prices are very reasonable. Our server Elise was very nice and provided excellent service.

Such a cool atmosphere, a blast from the past. Have brought my son here for years and he loves it. Staff is cool, great place for the whole family or for drinks. Food is creative and tasty as well, tons of sauce choices. I recommend the prime rib and Buffalo
