AMAZING! We had a private party here and everything was perfect! Our guests have told us this was the best party and keep raving about everything! The food was delicious, as was the bourbon selection/drinks! The music they arranged for us was terrific! The service was top notch! The ENTIRE staff was so attentive, friendly and helpful! I could not have asked for a better evening for my husband's birthday. Chris was so helpful in arranging everything with me and had great ideas, as did the chef with the menu. Joe was fantastic in helping make sure the night was a hit. They even gave my husband a birthday gift, wow! I wish I knew everybody's name to mention them each individually because they were all so GREAT! We can't wait to go back for dinner and to try their other places. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to book a party or for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. Again, thank you all so much for making my husband's night truly magnificent!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner before going to a show next door at the Bolton Center last weekend. We have been here for dinner about a half dozen times and we love American Standard Whiskey Bar in Bay Shore. The food, service and atmosphere is always great. On this occasion we had a new server Kay who was fantastic as was the food. We ended the meal with a dessert special of banana flan served with ice cream and topped with a caramelized banana, I can't even begin to explain how good this was. We even asked to speak to the chef who graciously came out to talk to us about the delicious dessert and great overall meal and service. Highly recommend this place and that dessert is a must try!
My husband and I visited American Standard last weekend with two friends. Although it was a Saturday evening and looked busy, we were seated quickly. The bar scene can get pretty loud and crowded, but we didn't mind. We got drinks, apps and entrees. Everything was delicious. I don't think there was anything not eaten in its entirety. The menu had a large selection and everyone enjoyed their food! Drinks were also very good. Our server Kay was excellent. Funny, personable, explained the menu and gave us great recommendations. Probably some of the best service we have ever had. Kay brought our experience from good to great. Overall, would highly recommend! We can't wait to go back.

Went here to apps and drinks. I wanted to try the avocado margarita which was absolutely delicious. We ordered fried pickles which was a generous serving for two people. We also got whiskey bbq boneless wings. They were delicious. Definitely a good size for 2 people. If there were more people and everyone was eating it, I would order more than one. Our waitresses name was Daisy. She was very sweet and attentive to checking in on us. The only reason I give 4 stars over 5 is because it was very loud inside. They had live music which is great but it was very loud where we were yelling across the table. We will definitely be back.

Went to American Standard Whiskey Bar tonight. Was an absolute great experience.We went early around 5:30pm. Place was already busy, but we sat right away. Live guitar singer, she was excellent and not too loud. Took requests and also had a full list of songs available to play.Kay was our server. She was great from start to finish..My wife has an allergy, gluten and they had plenty of options for her. Removing things off of dishes, substitutes, took it very seriously which was great. Also, most of their apps are Vegan and Gluten Free already.We ordered wings and Brussels sprouts. Kay suggested getting the passion fruit habanero wings.. they were excellent. Even the homemade blue cheese was great. Brussels sprouts were also excellent, couldn't finish the portion, had to bring it home.We ordered salmon, and the chicken fried steak.. both were cooked perfect. Good came out quick and hot, but we never felt rushed.The portions were large enough for us to have some to take home..Kay suggested the chicken fried steak and I am glad she did it was so good.My wife had two mojitos, the peach and the watermelon. I had two different bourbon choices. One of my own, and one suggestion.We were check on 4-5 times throughout the night.Really they did a great job with the ambience and the vibe of the place.Give it a chance if you havnt.Vegetarian options: So many!Dietary restrictions: They took my wife's allergies of gluten VERY SERIOUS. As soon as me and my friends walked in it was awkward. it was around 9 pm and there were 4 people at the bar who knew the bartender and they all looked at us like we werent welcome. Me and my 2 friends decided to first go to the bathroom, I knocked on the door to see if anyone was in there, there was, so we waited. The girl came out and we went into bathroom, as soon as we were finished and walked out of the bathroom we were told we needed to leave. It was the most bizarre thing I have ever encountered. I still have no idea why we were told to leave. I’m assuming because they only wanted their friends at the bar? But still not a clear reason. I am a bartender and would never make a customer feel so unwelcome for no reason. I will never go back here

Walking in there was a very lively atmosphere with live music. The person was quite talented singing. The drinks, especially the caramel banana old fashioned were delicious. I tried the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was very good and the fries and aioli were very tasty. I was very happy with everything about this place and will definitely go back to try other things on the menu , both food and drinks.

We came here on a cold, slushy rain Saturday night at about 730/8:00. The hostess and waitress were accommodating after we sat immediately a friend who originally canceled said she was coming and the staff allowed us to move tables. Although I'm pretty sure the waitress was eventually a bit annoyed by us.. yo no se. We ordered several drinks a fan fav was the blueberry mule. It was light airy, refreshing and the blueberry not overwhelming. I got a deliciously smooth Jack and diet, proportioned perfectly and some pineapple margaritas. There is such a variety of drinks on the menu you definitely have to come back a handful of times. Another fan favorite was the "Dark and Stormy". As far as food goes 99% was delicious and cooked to perfection including the Brussels sprouts, Buffalo wings paired with Bama white bbq sauce, some sweet potato waffle fries. The one item I wouldn't try again was the buttermilk biscuit, it came with honey sauce, butter and some kind of fruit dip. It was so dry, I'd say almost stale as if it was left out sitting for a minute or day, with a hard bottom, and came out cold. It was at about 50% capacity as it got later the place definitely filled up. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic, with a live one man band playing a variety of date I say oldie songs that I would say if your from Long Island you hear often at bars and restaurants.
