Honestly this place needs to clean A LOT. It had a weird smell and my food tasted like straight grill. It has potential but it’s not hygienic and needs to be cleaned, I couldn’t even eat my meal because I could see grill pieces all over my egg sandwich, upsetting.

Let me tell you something about the man that owns this business. I used to be really strung out on drugs living behind the gas station right across the street. Most of the time I never had money for a meal but this guy would still always feed me. Sometimes it was the ONLY thing I had to eat for days. When I did have money, he wouldn't let me pay because he knew how rough of shape I was in. Fast forward a year later, I have a year clean and went in to buy the breakfast he used to make me. When I tried to pay with my card, his machine didn't accept AMEX and without a second thought he STILL just gave it to me. When you talk about community and delis on Long Island, this place is and will always be at the top of the charts. God bless this man and his family. AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING SERVICE. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY HE CARES, which is more than people can say about most others.

These bagels are authentic NY style bagels from Queens but on Long Island. The owner is a funny guy and has a good heart! His prices are always reasonable and his food is always amazing!!
