Was looking forward to a Bowl of New England Clam Chowder. I give it a B-. Could be creamier with more clams and taters. The search continues for a really good New England Clam Chowder.

Sweet little spot! Classic seafood, fair prices, and a cheerful staff. Must stop on the way to the ferry.

Food is not very flavorful. Soup was good, but that was about it. We had the broiled seafood platter, it needed a lot of salt and lemon.

What’s not to like - sitting here on a Wednesday late afternoon, an overcast low 70s mid July day. Indulging in a flight of chowders - always forgetting which one is my favorite (seafood bisque - technically a chowder?).
Moving onto their baked clams, which are a little skimpy on the clam part but still tasty(take note owners please.)
Went with the fish and chips today but can definitely splurge for a special. Great food, Blue Point Toasted Lager is the only draft on site and oysters are picked out back. Enjoy a non-pretentious experience that seems to be fleeting.

We found this place by chance after nearby restaurants had long waits — and we’re so glad we did! The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

Unlike the fancy spots next door, it’s a perfect place for families with kids — no stress if they make noise or a mess. Highly recommend!
