Coastal Kitchen & Daiquiri Bar

Well ,arrived about 12:15 PM-ordered the Empanada -they were good as an appetizer . Ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich that comes with fries. Sandwich was not up to par along with the soggy fries. Sandwich no taste at all ,fries no taste either. Seems like fried in old oil or not hot enough. I asked the guy next to me what he thought of the French fries ,he gave a thumbs down. In the past all was good.My guest had jerk chicken tocos , they were pretty good. Advice ,don't order anything that comes with fries .

Ordered the shrimp tacos and enjoyed them.

2 basic lunch meals came to almost 40. Bucks. Not enticing to come back.

Absolutely love the food here but almost every time I’ve gone it’s been so loud, even around dinner time, it really makes the environment not so enjoyable despite the food and drinks being delicious

I had a long day & was desperate for food that would cheer me up ? I called to ask if they do takeout and OMG, I’ve eaten at coastal a TON but somehow I didn’t know I could order food to go!!!

The takeout was just as good as it is in the restaurant, and it was ready in like 10 minutes - totally made my day.

Came here for lunch and the poor bartender is catering to a full bar AND seated tables with 1 server outside to a full seated patio and the cook slamming on the bell over and over! PUT MORE STAFF ON! The wait is ridiculous but more than that it’s NOT FAIR TO THE STAFF HERE!!!! Terrible! They are running and can’t keep up! Truly terrible! All while the manager or owner whoever he is in sweatpants is walking around not helping at all! You’re only as strong as your weakest server and this place needs new management ASAP! This was my FIRST AND LAST time here!

Super delicious food, loved the nachos and steak tacos. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Kind of small so I’d plan for possibly waiting on a Friday. Would recommend!

Really had high hopes as I love Verde the sister restaurant to coastal but flavors were not there on the Haitian Pork sand, was very dry pulled pork not griot and Jerk Chicken bowl had extremely dry and over cooked chicken chopped into the smallest bits only good thing walked away with was the cocktails here, more dive bar energy then a good restaurant feel when we went.

There was terrific wait staff. The food was very good. The noise was more than I am used to. Conversation was difficult.
But, if you're there for darts, or the music, it's a great place!
