Great spot
61 homemade flavors for you to taste.
Coyle's of Bayshore always delivers a wonderful ice cream experience. All of the employees are cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Anna, the manager, has created a welcoming and family-feeling environment. To top it all off, all of their ice cream is homemade on premises, and you simply can't find better. This place is a must-visit for any ice cream fan; my family travels all the way from Huntington for it!!!
Absolutely the best ice cream I ever had and friendly staff couldn’t speak more highly of this place. Definitely will be back when we return.
This is our go to place for ice cream, and shakes!! The best!!
Absolute sweetest staff and best ice cream ever! They always accommodate your needs and simply care for your needs at all costs. I wouldn’t choose any other ice cream shop, they’re delicious and you can taste the freshness in their dessert.
It might have been an off day but really unimpressed with the ice cream. Is it really homemade? Where?
The test of any quality homemade ice cream shop is the pistachio. Coyle’s pistachio was exceptionally bland and has a texture like plaster. For the price there wasn’t much to me that exuded quality.
There is a dearth of family owned shops on Long Island, but unfortunately, and sadly, this one does not live up to the hype.
Great choices including sugar free options.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at this ice cream shop was disappointing enough to say something. There was a young Spanish girl with glasses working behind the counter who had a really unprofessional attitude. From the moment we walked in, she was dismissive — barely acknowledged us, rolled her eyes, and spoke with a tone that came off as rude, not just to me and my girlfriend, but to other customers too.
Customer service matters, especially in a place that should feel welcoming. Instead, it felt like we were bothering her by simply placing an order. I noticed other people in the shop having similar reactions — it wasn’t just us.
Everyone has bad days, but if you’re working with the public, basic respect goes a long way. Hopefully management addresses this, because the service left a bad taste — and it had nothing to do with the ice cream.

First of all - Absolutely delicious ice cream!!!!!!
Second, thank you for hosting Cones with Cops event. My children had the most memorable time engaging with the officers and being able to sit in the vehicles!
Will come again!
I got charged $16 for two medium Italian ices but the day before I paid three something for a small ice. Like why was I overcharged?
