Local Burger - Bay Shore Restaurant and Bar

Wings would’ve been 5 stars but there was not one flat! I’m a flat guy

We found Local Burger last year and have visited many times since. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the Owner, Alyssa truly cares about her customers. Last visit we had Kerri as our server and she really did great. We opted to sit in the back to avoid the Saturday night crowd. We were concerned the service might be slow because we were the only ones in the back but we were wrong. Kerri came back within the first 5 minutes to greet us and take our order, she was friendly and pleasant. Our drinks came back just a few short minutes later followed by our food shortly after. Kerri also came back pretty regularly to check on us. All in all, we had a great experience at Local Burger. If you want a good burger, I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already. Also, this is a small business so better to support them than the big, corporate chains that only care about money.

WOW!!! Has to be the best burgers I’ve ever had on the island! 🤩 absolutely loved it, super delicious! I had a local burger with ketchup mayo and peanut butter, yes that’s right, peanut butter, it was delicious! One needs to try! I also got to try the chicken tenders, pretzel bites, the onion rings and fries and all of them were delicious, definitely my new burger spot here on Long Island! Only minor small issue for me is it’s on busy Main Street in Bay Shore, so parking may be a huge issue, theres free parking spots, but most of them I think you have to pay to park, but to be honest it’s worth it for this place other than that, no complaints and I highly recommend local burger co!

We lucked out on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded because it was brutally cold out. The wait staff was awesomly friendly and curteous. The burgers were cooked to perfection, rare for me which is hard to get at most places. It has a comfortingly inviting feel to it. It's like eating at your friend whose moms a good cooks house although still very hip. Beer selections very good & thank U for the many Long Island IPAs. Cocktails were well done also. My first time there but surely will not be my last. A new excuse to visit family & friends from my hometown.

Saddens me to do this as i usually go here every week. This week after a long 15 hour shift i picked up dinner. I get welldone fries normally but today the fries were mushy and the burger was watery, i dont even know how. I was there ordered my food there and from the second i got in my car the food was soggy and wet. So disappointed because i threw it out and had no time to get anything else. Will be my absolute last choice for pickup after this

Great burger place! The burgers are high quality and their milkshakes are AMAZING! Also try the salt and vinegar fries, they are fantastic!!!!

We order from local burger pretty frequently and it’s usually a hit or miss with how the food tastes and it stinks when we get a bad order. Tonight our burgers had such an off taste and smell to them. Immediately after eating, we all got and felt sick to our stomachs. It’s disappointing when this happens from a local spot .. taking a break from ordering here for a while.

I went to dine in with my family on Sunday night. We had such a great experience. Our server Caitlin was very attentive. When I told her I had a wheat allergy she handed me a Gluten free menu! I was over the moon! Everything was delicious! The burgers were cooked perfectly, not over cooked! We will definitely come back!

The skinniest, least juicy burger I have ever had in my life. Someone should have warned me, so here I am warning you. Milkshake had some nasty (probably artifical) orange creamsicle flavoring. The skinny burger patty just got me so mad.

HALF HOUR TO GET FOOD AND THEY WEREN'T THAT BUSY..WAITRESS ONLY CAME TO CHECK ON US ONCE...SHE WAS LUCKY THE TIP WAS INCLUDED...I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SO GENEROUS!!!!!!! GET BETTER STAFF
