Was extremely disappointed when this past weekend went to get some drinks for my birthday (actually really love it here, drinks/food are great so is the staff)and was met with the VERY rude response from the “host” ( some guy with a tablet, had never seen this before) of needing a reservation to just be around the bar and have a drink (( NOTE: that it says very clearly on the instagram “NO RESERVATIONS “ and website “NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS AT THIS TIME FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS”)), at the time of arrival we were around 5-7 people ended up being 16, NOT wanting a table or even a seat at the bar even just wanted to grab some drinks and stand around chitchat a bit. Again do love this place but they disappointed like no other this time sadly. Hope they get their information together for the next time.

We were smart enough to get here early on a Saturday...5pm arrival like a bunch of blue hairs and it was good planning. We got a booth for 4 close to the front and within 15 minutes all other tables were loaded.
I can't say enough about what a great experience it was here...the cocktails were RIDICULOUS (see photos) and that's coming from 2 of us out of our party of 4 who can shake up some mean concoctions on our own. The service was outstanding and the food was definitely NOT an afterthought on the part of the owner and chef. We had a whipped ricotta appetizer which was not skimpy (we considered licking the plate, but refrained). I ordered the burger and it was an excellent choice. I forget what my husband ordered, but had meatball appetizer, I believe. All were happy, that's for sure. The service was top notch...our glasses were never empty! We each had 3 cocktails and took an Uber home. Some might complain it was pricey for what we ate and drank, but I know what goes into funky cocktails and they were booze forward (for those who wanted that) so not sugared up to mask a lack of alcohol. I greatly appreciated that.

This place was recommended to us by some guys at Atlantic Honda. We got here around 5:50 PM on a Saturday and got a table right away. The atmosphere is lively (maybe a bit loud). The decor is just beautiful and well thought out. The lighting, the fixtures, the ceiling and the amazing bar are stunning. While lively it also has a warm and comfortable feel. There are so many excellent menu options and I absolutely love the cocktail menu. I love a sidecar and it was perfectly prepared. I am anxious to return and try other menu and coktail options and I want to hang out here. This is a wonderful addition to the Bayshore scene.

Cocktail bar with 60 craft cocktails. Absinthe fountain service is hands down best👌 transports you back to the prohibition Era in this speakeasy vibe. They offer a tower of 5 types to choose from. Food is equally superb try their bone marrow. My boyfriend had their whiskey flight.

The quest for a great cocktail on LI lead me and my wife to Sweet Jane. Wow did these drinks hit the spot. I knew I was in good hands when chatting with the head bartender and the conversation quickly went to refractometers and clarified milk syrups. The food was equally amazing. Seasonal and local food done at a high level without being over the top or pretentious.
I usually don't get excited about restaurants on LI and/or write a review about my dining experiences but the fact that we were able to walk in and have our choice of seating (albeit on a dreary Tuesday night) is an absolute travesty. A gem like this should be packed to the brim every night of the week. This visit really made my month. Thank you.

My review was based on lousy customer service and the treatment I received by staff. I have never applied for a job here. I am very much employed as an attorney, my specialty is civil law, not hospitality- which this business very much lacks.

Can’t recommend this place enough, the food is on point. Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had on the island, if you’re a ramen lover order it. But besides that the cocktails are great, bartenders and servers are friendly and just an overall good vibe. There are a lot of good cocktail bars now in bay shore and this is definitely one of the better ones!
