Take 2 is an EXCEPTIONAL Local Brewery! I visited yesterday afternoon just when it opened, and met the owners Brendan and Carol. Two very nice people who brew some of the best beer I’ve tasted on Long Island. Their Tamarack and Bock are both delicious! The space is open, airy, clean, and welcoming. I’ve found a new destination on the South Shore called Take 2 brewery. I plan to bring my family back this weekend. Spread the word!

Passing through the area. Cool lil spot, but when it gets crowded it’s gets a little loud w/ the dog/screaming kids. Beer was decent, Mexican lager w/ tajin rim, interesting idea, but not for me. Takes away from the flavor of the beer and all ya taste is the tajin. Got a pizza for take away, smh at best. Not that it’s a big deal b/c of all the game, but TV’s are in a weird spot.

An absolute gem! David and Brendon were knowledgeable, passionate, and made my girlfriend, her mom, and me feel so welcomed. You can tell they truly care about their craft and the Bay Shore community. The beer is phenomenal, the atmosphere is warm with games, and the hospitality is unmatched. I recently held mine and my husband’s birthday here. Kelly was our point person and she was very prompt with answering all my questions! The space is very clean and new. The staff welcomed our guests and did anything we asked. In the back there is space to bring in your own food or have it catered. We were able to bring in a DJ and had plenty of space to dance. I highly recommend for your next party. They are professional and affordable!

We celebrated my 50th birthday in their back room in December and a great time was had by all. The space was perfect and comfortable and the beer was delicious. We were also able to have food delivered. Meagan and Nick were great hosts! Highly recommend Take Two!

I don't find myself out on the island as much anymore, so I always make it a point to visit new-to-me breweries. One thing that continues to impress me is the quality and quantity of the breweries out on Long Island. 🎉🍻
Take Two in Bay Shore was one of our stops two weeks ago and we cant give them enough praise 🙌 the small taproom offers big flavors in beers like Next Ferry Over milkshake IPA and my personal favorite, Big D's Oatmeal Milk Stout (a tribute beer to a friend of theirs who passed away). If you're passing through on the south portion of the island, Take Two definitely needs to be added to your map.

I came here one night as they were hosting a comedy show. I didn't want to see comedy, just have some of their beers. I didn't really think the comedians were that funny either.
I sat at the bar and ordered a few. They are quite good, with a variety of styles that are all above par.
I'd recommend this place in general.

Super friendly staff. Great beers. 13 to choose from and good variety... Not heavy on IPAs. Their Bock and their Black IPA were off the the chart! I am so glad we diverted from our original destination. We will definitely be back!
