I think was absolutely great food but portions are on the smaller side and there is other locations closer for more reasonable price. I spent 80 on sushi and I was still hungry:/ . For that I will be going somewhere else. Not exactly pocket friendly. Cool spot to hang in patchogue

Hibachi food was good. Chef was entertaining and we had a great time. It was what I expect from these types of food establishments. It was good and I would go back. It gets pretty busy at times, so make reservations. They also have good drinks, enjoy!

Billy the bartender was extremely attentive in the midst of a very busy Friday night rush. Still made us feel like we were the only people at the bar, even though it was very crowded. The food and the drinks are both amazing!!
My family loves Takumi - this is our go to hibachi restaurant and we come fairly frequently. The kids always ask to come here! The food is great, prompt service, the chefs are interactive and cater to the kids, and it’s nice and clean inside. This restaurant is fantastic! Every time we come the food is great, it comes out fast, is always fresh and everyone there is very friendly. We found this restaurant by accident one day while in the area and still routinely travel fairly far just to come here for sushi.Our waiter Chris has been so kind and helpful since the first time! He always takes the time to say hello and help out even when he’s not working at our table. He is probably one of the best waiters we’ve ever had and even remembers our drinks from the first time being there and will bring it out without us saying anything, water without ice!Truly cannot recommend this restaurant more, always a great experience!
