Great atmosphere and friendly workers but the pizza definitely left a lot of be desired.. It was rather small and it looked and tasted like the base was just a flat bread..
Also on the pricy side.

Was very disappointed with the service we received. Our waitress was not friendly at all and had a serious face the entire time we were there. She also aggressively slipped the check to us and immediately left, leaving us to wonder whether it was because of our race. Safe to say I will not be returning here.

I loved their sauce. I attended a private party. The room that the party was in was kind of cramped, the food was very good. This place is probably excellent for casual dining

We were a large group, and were Sat quickly - which was good, but the first course (garlic bread) did not come out for an additional 45 minutes, which is just too long for appetizers. There were 6 pies ordered, and they brought out one. That pie was gone long before the second and third pies came. There was one server working a table of 16, and would not entertain orders for drinks until all the pies were served. We have eaten here before, and have had a better experience, so maybe it was just an off night. The pizzas were - just okay - in my opinion, and not worth the wait. I hope they up their game moving forward.

Came here on a whim today. Was informed they do not do slices but indeed the small pie is about the size of a plate. Place looks older but is decorated tastefully. Ordered the neoploitan with mushrooms and in about 15 minutes it was on my table. The pie tasted wonderful. All fresh ingredients. The wait staff was real nice and will definitely be coming back

Napoleon. I mean it was good yes, but did they take one piece of basil and tear it up? I was expecting a little more from such a nice place. I'll have to ask for extra toppings next time.

Our recent dining experience at The Pie at Salvatore's in Bay Shore was a culinary marvel. From the moment we entered, the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizzas enveloped us, promising a memorable evening. Opting to dine inside, we were welcomed by a cozy ambiance and attentive staff, setting the stage for an exceptional culinary adventure. The Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza showcased a perfect balance of flavors, while the classic Sausage Pizza and the indulgent Large Meat Lovers Pizza Pie delighted our taste buds with their high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. We also relished a cheese calzone, its gooey center encased in golden, flaky dough. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, top-notch ingredients were evident in every bite, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to culinary excellence. The staff's warm hospitality and the inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm, making our evening at The Pie at Salvatore's truly unforgettable. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an outstanding Italian dining experience.
