I used to love coming here with friends. Unfortunately this was my last time at this location. I was humiliated by the hostess. She was rude, and unfriendly, I felt so discriminated, I cried over my food. From what I see in the reviews, discrimination is frequent happening.

I keep going here like once a year and now I know why. This review is more of a reminder for myself to not forget, don’t give it another try! Coffee was served with curdled cream, replaced with unexpired cream (imagine?) but the new coffee tasted horrible to which the waiter replied that was because it was the bottom of pot and sitting there a while (yes, seriously). Made new pot but then brought back the curdled cream. When trying to explain, he wasn’t understanding, simply said it was unfortunate (yes, it was unfortunate). No more tries. Toast is toast!

At first my kids and I were having a great time. When it was time to pay the bill my server used a handheld device for my payment. She handed it to be and I selected the 20% tip option then signed. She automatically grabbed the device to finish off the transaction and then walked away. I seen her walk over to the register print a receipt look at it then crumbled it up and discarded it into the trash bin. I asked her for a receipt. I was given a reprint of the receipt which I noticed that before she finished off the transaction she changed my tip selection to the highest percentage. When I spoke to manager who was unprofessional I was told the server would never do something like that. I advise everyone to check their receipts.

Solid experience with good food and friendly staff. Very kid friendly as well. Wait times were a bit long for food and service, but it was Saturday brunch. Lighting was a bit dark for my taste, but I would still go again.
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids!

I used to love this place until today, we were told we needed a reservation for party of 7 we told them we were gonna seat separately and still she said they can’t do that. Honestly I felt like we were being discriminated. I’m so disappointed because I was bringing new family to this place and they made them feel uncomfortable. We’ll never returning to this place.
(Update)since I’m not able to reply. For future reference it would be nice if your website provided any information on the reservation policy

Lazy staff standing around on their phones. I as well as two other tables had to ask the staff for utensils to eat the food they already brought to the tables. The food itself was ok. Nothing special.

This place is alright. Its staff seems kind but they aren’t well trained? Most, if not all, restaurants I go to give you a heads up before the kitchen closes. I tried to order a meal to take home for family. But I guess it’s my fault too cause I didn’t know they closed so early. But we also had no napkins or silverware at our table until we asked for them.
The other issue I take is I had my baby shower there years ago. The communication was poor. And so they had my event in the middle of the restaurant. Which the restaurant was still open so the day was shared with strangers. Then ontop of that they brought everyone In The party their meal but not the new mother and father. Which really they should have been taken care of first since we are paying the bill.
The reason I gave 3 stars is mainly the food is the best part of this place. And the server I had was very kind. But I only went back to this place cause my friend wanted to go. Otherwise I have no plans to come back here.

Strong coffee! Bustling casual neighborhood diner vibe with elevated breakfast standbys. reasonable on the wallet.
Parking: Abundant Bay Shore village parking.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Some stroller parking areas depending on how busy. Portions are large for preteens so parents should be prepared to help?
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

I don’t know what demons were in the pot of cinnamon hazelnut roast coffee my friend and I had but we were both bedridden after. Cute place that I’ve been to a few times but I fear that along with the mushy home fries & crumpled up piece of bacon on my other friend’s plate, this time had us saying we would never return.

Don"t order take out unless you want to get your food late. I find it funny you get a text your food is ready, then you go ask for your food and it's not even ready. Not only did they give me my food late they forgot my bacon. What angers me more is i even left a tip up when i ordered online. Here i am thinking leaving a tip is the right thing to do, and it's totally optional on my part to give a tip so i did. I don't like that Toast gives an option for a tip on take out, it should be done at pickup if the service was good not upfront. All i know if they don't refund my small portion of the bacon, then i will never go here again and i will tell friends and every one stay clear away from this establishment. That's my take on Toast, they need to really fix their system because it sucks and they leave their customers hanging.

A little disappointed this trip - the service is as usual great. But one set of my utensils were very dirty and I wouldn’t have know till my child pointed it out to me.
I ordered from their current seasonal menu - the tres leche eggnog French toast (4/10) is too dense and heavy; if you’re looking for a crispy outside and soft inside French toast - this is not for you. The sugar cookie pancakes were a hit with my kids 9/10, their gourmet hot chocolate is pretty watered down even though it’s made with milk - it really lacks flavor. The cookies for Santa latte tasted like a regular latte - was not something I would get again 7/10.
