Steak was exceptionally salty, Salmon was salty also but I tolerated it. I told the waiter about the steak they cooked another one, much better. Waiter was very nice.

After reading all the negative reviews for the Applebee's in bayside I went to lunch with a friend and sorry folks but the service and food were terrific. Definitely will be coming back . The place is spacious and clean. Music in background not interfering with a conversation and free parking!

Something's changing at this Applebee's. The wait staff has gotten better. The food has really improved. As one of the few places that still has "all you can eat" anything, this Applebee's is heads and toes better than the ones out in Suffolk.The picture included is of a kids meal. It's a real burger, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a real size bun. While smaller than a big Mac, this thing probably has more beef, and actually tastes good. The adult size burgers have also been really good.Do tamper expectations; you will get pre cooked bacon at the lower burger tiers (unless their serving apple wood smoked bacon) but I fully expect that at this price point. The fries have been great for the last 3 times I've been there; hot, slightly crispy, and not too greasy.Did you know they have breakfast at this location? I've had it before, and if your looking for an alternative to IHOP, this place is worth checking out!

AWFUL SERVICE. NOT RECOMMENDED. Saturday, around 6PM sat at the bar with a friend to enjoy appetizers, drinks and dinner. The place was NOT crowded & the bar area nearly empty from the time we sat down at the bar to the time we left around 7:30. After we finished the appetizers, our empty plates and plastic utensil covers remained during & after we finished our entrees. The bartender NEVER asked if we needed anything once our appetizers were delivered and failed to remove the filthy & empty appetizer dishes and plastic covers. When asked if she would remove the dishes, we got a stink face. Really? The bartender did however have plenty of time to talk with a couple also seated at the nearly empty bar.There are many nice places to dine in Bayside that provide professional service. Applebee's is off the list.

TBH- Applebees has taken quite the hit. Just had their apps today and they just don't taste like the used too. Also they got rid of the cookie sundae!? There's a reason I've been away from it for so long. Don't recommend (not this location per se- our waitress was wonderful; just any Applebees in general!)

Waiter won't let me change my mind.Waiter started taking our order. One sampler platter was ordered first and was already on our table. At this time we decided order the main course. First thing we said was to add another sampler platter. Less than 1 minute later, we asked the waiter to cancel the sampler and was told no since he had already put it in. Overall the bill came to about $35 per person plus tips. Also would not let anyone order the $14.99 all you can eat even though the rest of our party of 7 were ordering a main course.

Took way too long to serve us! Extremely short-staffed. Had to wait almost over 30 minutes to have a server come to us. Did not have any utensils or napkins until we asked for them. They forgot to give it to us when the first items came out.Chicken alfredo pasta - great and not too saucyCaesar salad - super good finished it extremely fast Cocktails *** highlight - they were pretty strong, just how I like my cocktails!

I have been coming here with my family for quite some time now but last night really left me in shock at how poorly the service was and how we were treated at the end. We arrived around 10:30 restaurant was quite empty keeping in mind they close at 1 am so is not like we arrived 10 to 1 am where I can understand the poor service. The waiter did not once check on us if everything was fine, I had to call him over if we can get refills, food was cold and not at its best, we were his only table he was "attending to" my kids ice tea was watered down, when my kids left food I asked for some boxes but never got a bag. At this point I gave up with our waiter. And to put the cherry on top as we are getting ready to leave already signed the receipts they start turning off the lights of the establishment mind you it was 12:15 supposedly 45min left till actual closing. You know you go out to eat with family we're paying for our food is not like they're giving it to us for free to have a good last night out for the year and it was just sad to be attended that way. First time coming at 10pm and probably now I see why this Applebees on a Friday night is so empty and I thought we got lucky lol boy was I wrong. Lesson learned don't attend this establishment after 9pm because everyone is already clocking out mentally and it will reflect on their service.

They didn’t have two appetizers on their menu, surprised since they’re usually the most popular. (The mozzarella sticks and the pretzel). it took over 20 minutes just to get the check and get out of there, staff didn’t seem to care when we clearly wanted to leave. Will not be returning

I can see why this place has low reviews, but people still frequent it and won't go out of business. Its proximity to places like the AMC movie theater and ample parking spots. Plus, if you want to watch anything at all, they have tvs for your viewing pleasure. However, their seats and table tops need some attention. I laid my phone, and it was so sticky and greasy that I had to wipe my phone down.The service was good and the food was just alright. I got their Tuesday deal, the all you can eat boneless chicken bites that come with fries. That was a good deal, but they get you with the fries as it fills you up. The best flavors that I tried were the honey pepper and honey bbq ones. All in all, if you're looking for an inexpensive meal this is the place to go to.
Most disgusting food ever tasted and everything came wrong... order chicken wings they sent boneless, when they exchanged the wings they came back under cooked and soft skin, (i have worked at a restaurant i know when they send food on the rush my wings should not have been at the table in under 5 mins), also gave us ranch when we asked for blue cheese. Oriental chicken salad came with 1 drop of dressing had to ask for more, ribeye stake was ordered well done ( i prefer medium rare but it was my wifes) steak came just how i like it so it had to get sent back to kitchen -_- worst experience ever. By the time i got home i had already thrown up. And the drink was off i cant put my finger on it. I will never return to this apple bees again, actually made me not wanna return to any applebees for a while.There was also a huge comotion with an employee and customer and then the employee and manager all i kept hearing the manager say was do you see me drinking now , kinda the best part of the night.

Just went here for my birthday dinner with my children because they wanted Applebees bad. OUR SERVER Ken was amazing. She was quick and very nice. This is what you call good service ! I hope she sees this review ❤️

We came in there at dinner time and it was a full house and only few stuff staff working but they still manage to serve us in a reasonable amount of time.. I give 4 stars on service because Applebees should hire more staff during peak times.. all in all is good! The staff there did their best.

Applebee's is hit or miss. Not only the restaurant was spacious, it is well decorated. We got seated right away, food came fast and hot. The drink I got had nice amount alcohol which made it worth the cost. Sorry, food pictures were done after we started eating. This Applebee's is a must. Great for family, dates and to watch football. They also have breakfast menu which is new for me.Vegetarian options: They have salads, pasta, soups and vegan burger.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu.Parking: In a shopping mall with lots of free parking which is rare in NYC.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk goes right into front double doors
