waited literally AN HOUR for food during lunch. wasted my time coming here since i came during my lunch break. didnt even end up eating since we were waiting the entire time. they kept saying “10 more minutes.. 5 more minutes”… the place was not even busy, had 3 tables including us and none of the other dine in tables were being served food. whats the point in taking dine in customers if you cant accommodate to them?????

This one is for you Elizabeth. I placed an UberEats order Monday, August 11th. Crispy Wings 10pcs with Garlic Seasoning (tossed) and French Fries (S) with Cajun Seasoning. UberEats did their job, brought me the food on time. When I opened the food, the chicken came as crispy plain wings and NOT the garlic wings. I called Pelicana Bayside because this is their kitchen fault for not reading the ticket as per Crispy Fried Wings *GARLIC*. I just wanted to eat some garlic wings.
Elizabeth picked up the phone, told me that I need to take it up with UberEats and ask for a refund I said “no I want to eat Garlic Wings.” She called back and said that UberEats should have reissued a refund which still hasn’t come. I said I don’t want a refund, I just wanted Garlic wings and I said I can come pick up because I don’t mind I live close by. She said word for word “you would need to bring back the plain crispy wings so we can swap you for the garlic wings.” Oh em geez. Thats like saying you go to restaurant and server makes mistake drops food on wrong table and people started already eating it.. you gonna take it back and swap for the correct order midway?
This was handled poorly. I was not trying to get money back. It was your kitchen fault for this mistake and I made myself very clear that what I wanted was garlic wings, you failed to try and understand that and suggested for a refund from UberEats or come back with a half eaten crispy wings which I’m sure you would have just thrown out for a new garlic wings order. Aiyahh…. Thanks though for your apology and your willingness to get my refund from UberEats, sincerely.

It was ok. I thought the food tasted better from the other location in Forest Hills or where there. We ordered a number of dishes and the rose pasta was the only really delicious dish. That was my dish and everyone wanted more than a fork-full.

I order the chicken and avocado salad, the portion is very generous and it’s delicious. I used to order a Greek salad with grilled chicken for Gyro World, the price was twice , although the food was good, the service was definitely not !!!! Pelicans is my new go to place

So a friend of mine told me try this place as I love Korean fried chicken.. now I tried a couple flavors it’s good! However I’ve had better . The spicy wings taste identical to Popeyes . Anyway if you guys liked this place try bonchon

This place is an absolute horror story. My friend and I were eating and drinking beers. Half of our food and drinks were left on the table when we informed the waitress that we were stepping outside to have a smoke. Once we returned, our entire table was cleaned off and nothing remained. Others have warned me of this happening at this place. I will NEVER be back here again. Absolute nightmare

Dear Pelicana, Food was great. I wouldn’t say it was the bestest of the best chicken, but it’s good chicken. We got a whole chicken and fries with cheese seasoning. As spoken before, chicken was great, juicy, tender, crispy. For the fries, they were good at first, but then they got soggy and mushy. What I recommend eating here is to eat the fries first.
The atmosphere was amazing. It felt like a typical cool bar but also filled with sports collectibles. There were tv’s, high platforms for tables. A bar. And a bunch of sports collectibles that I cannot even reference all of them.
Although what really brought it together was the service. We originally ordered takeout, but we saw when we arrived, a deal where eating a whole chicken dine in costed 15 dollars, luckily with a bit of luck and persistence the staff let us dine in instead and get the deal. I personally thank the manager for helping us, I will happily return next week.
