I was looking for a BBQ place and this came up with good reviews. We went for takeout on a Wednesday. We arrived when they opened after finding street parking. We ordered from the lunch special menu which is a good bargain. I wanted to like this place after smelling the aroma of cooking. I was disappointed. The ribs and chicken were pre cooked before being placed on the grill. The grills weren’t even on when we arrived. I have a feeling this was left over from the day before. They were both dry and the chicken was very salty. The beef bulgogi was good. The best for me was the fried rice and japache. Disappointed.

It was only ok. Not sure what happened but the sides that we requested were not the sides we found when we got home. Also the entrees were supposed to come with soup but we didn’t get any. My kids really liked the fried chicken wings but felt the ribs weren’t meaty or tender. I tried the fried fish which is a new menu item and thought it was just ok.

BBQ Chipok Chicken is much more delicious than I've ever had in New York. It's much more delicious than any other chicken. Without a doubt, it can be said to be the best. Especially, the Korean-style seasoned chicken and the fried chicken, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, are really delicious. The pork ribs are well-seasoned and have a strong smoky flavor, making it a taste that keeps you craving. I ordered twice from BBQ Chippok, and I was very satisfied both times. I would like to recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone. 🥰👍👍👍

10/10. One of my favorite hidden gems in the neighborhood. The food is amazing, I usually get takeout and am so excited to share with my mom. I like to order the bulgogi lunch special, with kimchi & corn. Great portions. What’s even better is that when I decided to eat in, I found out how accommodating and hospitable the staff is :) such kind people, the waitress and even the chef were always checking in and even gave us extra food on the house! Overall, it’s always been a great experience with the food and the wonderful staff. Highly recommend and will come back regularly!

So delicious, Woman is super kind The cook makes delicious food I recommend the Pork Chop, And the Ribs absolutely delicious as well as the Fried chicken you can’t get this no where super fresh , If you want to order more ribs make sure you call beforehand at least 2-3 hours since they sell out totally recommend!
